We rented this property for Thanksgiving. We had my parents, three brothers and spouses and children. A total of 20 people. We had plenty of room to spare. With the game room upstairs (pool, air hockey and fooseball, plus a big screen tv) we rarely saw the kids. Each set of adults had their own rooms, while the kids asked to sleep together on the futons in game room.

The kitchen and living areas offer plenty of room to cook, eat and relax and no-one felt at all cramped. The house includes a small heated pool which the kids really enjoyed.

Wow, we had the best time. This vacation was a family reunion. The youngest was 8 months old and the oldest 75 years old, and everything in-between. We filled every bed in the house and still didn't get in each others' way. The house is furnished wonderfully and has anything and everything you could need. The bedrooms are spacious and have great storage space so you don't need to live out of a suitcase for a week. With 2 kitchens, we had room for all the food we needed too. Cherry Grove is such a beautiful area, the beach is quiet, but not deserted, a good place to read or people watch. The house is very close to the beach, although it was back farther than we thought (we thought, right across the street from beach, but actually about 3-4 houses in). We were very lucky, the weather was perfect when we were there (rain one evening only) so we were at the beach every day. The house is close enough that we went back and forth time and again each day (you know how it is with kids, lol). We were close enough to all the excitement of Myrtle Beach without having to deal with all the chaos. We found many places to shop and eat and we never drove for more than a half hour. Also, there is a gift store (huge one) and grocery store (again, huge) within walking distance from the house. I could go on and on.....this place is worth every penny. The owners are terrific to work with. All transactions professional and very polite. We should all hope to deal with folks like this all the time. We had 5 families for this vacation and the game room was a huge hit with our middle school age children! The bedrooms with their own bathrooms were very accomodating for everyone and there certainly was plenty of room to roam and relax for everyone! With the recent updates and tasteful decor, the house was spotless and clean. A new stainless steel grill was available to use for our many dinners we enjoyed with the families. The pool was just the perfect size and the heated feature was a plus. We loved the cocktail table in the pool! The beach was just a skip away from the house and not crowded in the area we stayed at! Not to mention a grocery store (IGA) was just a few blocks down which made getting food, groceries, beverages a breeze! Barefoot Landing and other attractions were close by that we enjoyed! I would defintely recommend this house for your next vacation!
