Private~Unique~on magnificent Grace Bay Beach~South Fleetwood Villa

Thank you Kit and Colin for a most relaxing and enjoyable stay in the adorable studio. We had everything we needed and the privacy of the courtyard was awesome. It was so private and peaceful; we hardly knew anyone else was around. Our only visitor was K.C. Cat snoozing on one of the lounge chairs every morning. We enjoyed his company. Thanks for the bottle of Champaign Colin! What a nice welcome after a weary flight from Boston! I love the landscaping, and the many palm trees swaying in the wind made such a wonderful sound as they lulled us to sleep. We slept with the windows open every night, and in the studio unit, three walls have windows open to the trade breezes. We stayed cool and comfortable every night and never needed to use the air-conditioning. I often wondered how anyone in the large neighboring concrete condos could really appreciate the true tropical atmosphere that South Fleetwood has to offer. Most condos in Provo looked dry and barren with the landscaping bare and minimum. South Fleetwood was cool and shady with the hundreds of tropical plants and palms. It was awesome! The beach was fantastic and only feet from the villa. Restaurants were so close too. We opted to get a car though, and I’m so glad we did. Provo has so much to offer if one wants to get out and explore. We fell in love with Sapodilla Beach, Blue Hills and Da Conch Shack. We met the bartender “John Wayne” at Da Conch Shack who appeared on the Travel Channel. What a hoot he was! We loved him! Thanks for recommending that we go there. We also took a day and explored North and Middle Caicos. The latter had the most amazing beach I’ve ever seen. Thank you again for such a special nine days and accommodating us when we messed up our schedule by booking a flight home one day later than we had scheduled with you. You saved us! Whew! We’re already counting the months until we can come back. We can’t stop daydreaming about the place. Take care and looking forward to seeing you again in the near future. This is truly an amazing place to stay while in Turks and Caicos, Kit and Colin were wonderful hosts anything we needed or inquired about they were very helpful. No need to bring beach towels but don't forget your snorkelling equipment to walk to Coral Bay reef and jittney to Smith's reef to see the most amazing fish and coral!
The accommadations were clean, very comfortable and short walk to the most amazing beach I have ever seen with turquoise blue water. We saw stingrays (total of 3) during our stay as they are very visible in the water and one was so curious he even came right up on to the beach to pose for pictures.
The pool and hammock at the house was wonderful we would go to the beach in the morning and then hang out by the fresh water pool in the afternoon- outdoor showers are provided. It is a great place for peace and quiet to curl up and relax with a good book. Nice not to have to dress up for dinners like the resorts and you have the whole beach to yourself. Grocery shopping was a short walk to town- some what expensive to purchase so if you can bring a few items with you e.g. ketchup was $8 for small bottle. The house has a BBQ you can use so we bought fish and meat to BBQ and it was wonderful. Everything is accessible by rental car or you can do the local jittney for $10per person you can call them to pick you up at a certain time so getting around is very easy. Conch farm is worth visiting $10 per person and not far from Southfleetwood. Reefs are within walking distance (coral bay reef) and smith's reef is a short jittney ride to turtle cove which was much better for viewing fish and coral.
Highly recommend staying here it is a wonderful place to get away from it all and Kit and Colin are very wonderful hosts! Everything is very much what you see in the pictures except the beach looks better once you are there! I have already recommended this place to everyone who wants to visit T&C.
