Although on a quiet cul de sac of executive homes, it is within walking distance of famous Fisherman's Village; a restaurant/shopping centre on the water overlloking Charlotte Harbor.

Sleeping 2-7 guests in air-conditioned comfort, Villa Rum Cay is an ideal location for exploring the beautiful South west Gulf coast area.

The large South facing pool (multi-colored underwater lighting, heating optional) has a beautiful poolside bar,and overlooks the waterway and your own private boat dock with direct and quick access to Charlotte Harbor; 120 square miles of sparkling water teeming with wildlife, that leads down to the Gulf of Mexico and the nearby island of Boca Grande, Sanibel and Captiva.

Punta Gorda beach is a few minutes drive, the stunning beaches of Boca Grande and Englewood are a short drive.

Punta Gorda is a quiet laid back town that is off the usual tourist tracks. Everywhere you go you are surrounded by water; from the beautiful waterways of the house on Punta Gorda Isles, that lead to Port Charlotte Harbor, 120 square miles of sparkling water, teeming with wildlife, that leads down to the Gulf of Mecico and the Gulf islands of Boca Grande, Sanibel, and Captiva.

A few minutes from the villa is a small beach overlooking the harbor, or driving a little further are the stunning beaches of Englewood and Boca grande.

For the more active there is a fantastic water park in Cape Coral or Busch Gardens is about an hour away.

We had a wonderful vacation at Rum Cay Villa. The Punta Gorda area is great our favorite area to visit with shops, resturants, local parks, farmers markets every weekend which are within walking distances from the Villa via walking and bike paths. We enjoyed some great golf at Herron Creek, Bobcat Trail, Deep Creek and several other courses, Herron Creek was your favorite got to see several gators on the course. After great day of golfing it was awesome to come back to the Villa for a relaxing swim in a very clean pool and lanai area. We enjoy everything thank you again Peter Chapman and family

We had a great holiday staying at Villa Rum Cay. The villa was well maintained, very spacious and well laid out. All amenities were there that would be needed for a villa holiday.
We particularly liked the large covered pool area which was well laid out with areas for sunbathing (and loungers) but also had a lovely shaded area with a large table and ceiling fan (more important than you might think in the heat). We found that we used this area a lot, eating breakfast, lunch and dinner there!
the location of the villa was excellent being close to the local supermarkets and perhaps more importantly the Fishermens Village complex with its small shops and range of restaurants.
Peter, the owner, was exceptionally helpful with any questions and had some great suggestions for things to see and do.
We would recommend this villa and look forward to returning at some point in the future.

We had a fantastic week at villa Rum Cay. The villa is of a high standard of comfort and we particularly enjoyed the pool , bbq and bar area. Kitchen is well equipped and many extra home comforts are provided which make it extra special. There is plenty to do in the surrounding area, you won't want to leave! We certainly didn't.

"Had an absolutely fab holiday , home is superb and BBQ and pool were used extensively. Explored the whole area which was great but looked forward to coming home to Rum Cay every evening and relaxing by the pool!
