When Only The Best Will Do !
My husband and I stayed at Villa Beach with another couple early October, we had a 2 bedroom villa apartment. It was absolutley beautiful, we were all mesmerized by the view looking straight onto the beach. The furnishings are stunning and have that laid back feeling, and the layout is perfect for 2 couples. I have never seen an apartment design as good as this. The 2 bedrooms are seperated from each other by the extremely spacious living, dining, lounge and kitchen areas, and both bedrooms have their own ensuite bathrooms which are very generous in size. (and hairdryers too) The villa was spotlessly clean and had every conceivable thing you need, even a cooler to take our wine & beer on the beach. Villa Beach supplies beach chairs and lounges for the beach which we made good use of, and beach towels too. The full size kitchen has everthing you need and more. The villa has its own BBQ and we had many an enjoyable meal on the large balcony which looked straight onto the beach. Absolute paradise! Villa Beach is perfectly positioned between Cairns (airport only 15 mins simple drive away) and Port Douglas. It was perfect for us as we did 2 reef cruises, one out of Cairns and one out of Port Douglas. Cairns zoo is only a few minutes drive away (where I cuddled a koala) and there is a large full size supermarket also only a couple of minutes drive away as well. We enjoyed the short walks up the beach to the restaurants at Palm Cove and recommend Far Horizons for lunch (right on the beach amongst the coconut palms). Book your reef tour with Trish, she gets you a discount off everthing. This is the place to stay while in Cairns, it is truely amazing with the best central location for all the must do things to see around the area. Location, location, and it has it, right on the beach. Oh and one more thing, Trish makes the booking process very easy, as well as the check-in, no fussing about, something that is extremely important when booking and travelling from the other side of the world.
