Montserrat Breezes - Nothing is More Beautiful!

What a wonderful villa! We expected the best from the pictures, but got even better than we had hoped for! The pictures are gorgeous, but the villa is even more beautiful. There are 5 large bedrooms w/ fans, @ with its own bathroom w/ plenty of nice towels. The 2 main story bedrooms have private balconies, one of which can open into the kitchen by a lockable shuttered window. Very nice to pass drinks out! That same bedroom also has a TV. The downstairs bedrooms don't have private balconies, but they still have a verandah walkway outside, with tables and chairs. One of the downstairs rooms also has its own outer sitting area overlooking the pool, which is clean and large with plenty of rafts and lounge chairs...and of course that view. All 5 bedrooms, the kitchen and the living/dining room open up to the view of the ocean and Redondo. The outer "walls" in all those rooms were actually floor to ceiling sliding glass doors. There were also full screen doors. We never closed the glass doors the entire 10 days we were there. The most amazing thing was that we stayed there during a period of very bad weather - rain like we have never seen for 5 days - and we still never needed to close any of those doors. Nothing ever seemed to get wet and we were able to sit anywhere on the verandahs or the balconies and stay dry. It was amazing to watch the storms come at us from the ocean w/ its ever changing panorama of clouds. We were happy to spend those rainy days just reading or playing games and enjoying the beauty of the villa. The main living/dining room is huge with a good sized TV, large comfy couches and a table which seats 8. There were 3 games, 2 of which were for kids. I found a deck of cards our last day, but recommend bringing a couple of games if you like that sort of thing. The power went out a couple of times, but there were candles and candle holders just in case. Not that I wanted to do laundry, but it was wonderful to have a washer and dryer available as well. There's a ping pong table in the garage as well as a grill, and the kitchen has really pretty dishes - and no cheap items you might expect in a rental. The landscaping is gorgeous! I can't recommend this villa enough. If you can pay this rate, definitely do it. It's worth so much more! It's outside of Zone A near the main road, but still very secluded with only 2 other houses on its little road, close to a food store, not far from a small beach, but you won't want to leave often. Beautiful!
