Gallery 2 is in a meticulously restored century old building close to downtown and minutes from the subway, the Atwater Market and the historic Lachine Canal. An ideal pied-à-terre for anyone that wants to be in one of the most dynamic boroughs in Montreal.
This 900 sq. ft., 2nd floor unit is bright, sleeps 4 to 6, has hardwood floors and ceramic tiles. Spotlessly clean & tastefully decorated with original art, high quality furniture and linens & appointments throughout. It features MBR, BR, bathroom w deep tub and washer & dryer, den w (double) pull out sofa, DR and a full kitchen with dishwasher that leads out to a large deck with 2 patio sets and 2 BBQ’s (note the deck is shared w 1st floor). The deck is next to our beautiful rooftop garden. Also equipped with books, board games and access to a DVD library
The deluxe IGA grocery store is just 2 blocks away and there are many fine restaurants (Joe Beef, Tuck Shop) within walking distance.
There are many things to do in this area, including public tennis courts across the street, cycling or rollerblading on the Lachine Canal bike path (leave your bikes at home, our rentals are a bargain). Also for small children there is a terrific park with Splash pad just 1 block away. Our other listings are #211812 and #193135

We loved everything about this charming apartment! The owner was so easy to deal with, and very accessible to answer all questions. He even took time to install the air conditioner while getting ready to leave the province for his son's wedding! The apartment is immaculate, meticulously maintained and well equipped for everything you need. The outdoor deck and barbecue were a huge bonus, as was the washer and dryer. Beds were very comfortable and the deep soaker tub (with shower) was lovely. The only thing I'd ever add to this great place is a small coffee table in the sitting room - so we could have a place to lay our glass of wine at the end of the day! The location is excellent as well - this was my first visit to Montreal, on a cross-country trip, and it is quite easy to access travelling east on the Trans Canada Highway. It is just around the corner from a Metro stop, which was wonderful to visit all parts of Montreal. Lots of great little restaurants in the area as well - we ate at the Greenspot Diner (good diner food) and The Burgundy Lion Pub (amazing menu! highly recommended). There is also an IGA just up the road, great for supplies. And also quite close to the great Atwater Market, which we really enjoyed visiting. The canal is very nearby also, and is great for walking. We stayed 4 nights in Gallery #2 apartment, and would very definitely return. We highly recommend staying here!
I always wanted to own a hotel and this about as close as it gets. My wife and I live next door and we enjoy meeting people from all over the world. I also believe that we offer a great value to travelers. We've made our apartments up as if we were renting them ourselves. We pride ourselves on being efficient and running a very well organized business and we try to make every aspect of your stay with us pleasant.
This is a great area, there are good restaurants and we are very close to the subway system (called Metro) so we can be downtown in minutes. We are also very close to the Atwater market where there is great food and restaurants. We are also minutes from the Canal which has great bike paths and walking areas that lead to the Old Port of Montreal.
