This is the first time for a long time that I have rented a property from the web and I was a little concerned, well I didn't need to be. From the first moment Andrea the owner was so attentive and helpful that I was put at ease. As far as the house is concerned it is FANTASTIC. Great space, more than can be seen on the photographs, and the fixtures and fittings are just "Grand" one can see that this was a "Model" home originally and Andrea has kept it in that lovely state. Punta Gorda is a lovely area, not so touristy as some areas of Florida and this did mean that one had to travel to reach beaches etc but then the local people were so friendly and local prices were less than the more touristy areas. Golf was excellent with many clubs nearby that made us welcome and we could not believe the value, $24 for a round of golf on one excellent course at Deep Creek, and that included the buggy!! If we return to this area we will certainly try to get this accommodation again, thank you Andrea.

My husband and I were in FL to spend time with family members who have been/are seriously ill. This PG home was a respite, providing lots of space and features allowing us to rest and re-charge as we visited with our loved ones. The layout and decor are much nicer than most other rentals and everything that one could want or need is provided with great extras. The photos don't do the home justice as it is larger and even nicer than we anticipated. We enjoyed the infinity-edge pool as a refreshing break from the heat, and my husband used the nearby park path to get some walks in as well. Some of the upholstered furniture cushions could be replaced for added comfort and the family room TV could be updated to flat screen and mounted lower for easier viewing. But these were minor things that did not affect the overall excellent experience. The owner was easy to work with and responded to any questions or concerns promptly. Do try the Wood St Grill for fresh and tasty food right in Punta Gorda. We would stay here again and I do highly recommend this lovely property to anyone.

This house is awesome. It is furnished very well and is clean. Andria who ownes it is a sweetie. She e-mailed me several times to be sure everything was in order from the paperwork to the house and asked what more I would need. Obviously nothing. VERY NICE !!!

Spring Getaway 2012

We had another great holiday at Andrea's home. It was our third visit to this home since 2011 and this time it was for a month. The home is beautiful in a mature neighborhood. The pictures on the VRBO website do not do it justice. It was very comfortable and well stocked with all the essentials. The home is close enough to golf and shopping, with both Port Charlotte and Fort Myers close by. We plan to return again in the future!

WOW Factor Home

Andrea, thank you for allowing us to be a guest in your absolutely beautiful home. My husband and I have been exploring the Southwest Florida region as a possible retirement location. This was our first visit to Punta Gorda. We thought we'd like to try renting a house on a canal with a lanai and pool to see if this was really what we would like for retirement. That is how we found this wonderful home. This house definitely has the WOW factor. We were in the pool every day and enjoyed having our meals on the covered lanai. Punta Gorda is so peaceful and relaxing, however, the house is conveniently located to restaurants, beaches and shopping. The property owner, Andrea, was very helpful, prompt with her responses, and made us feel as if she really cared about our stay. We are planning another visit (hopefully this home will be available for our stay) next year and hope to find our retirement home on that visit.
