Having stayed in Moscow on two other occasions, I will say that this apartment and it's owners are terrific. The apartment is located in a fabulous and safe location, surrounded by good, medium-priced restaurants, metro station, taxis, etc. The driver met us at the airport and while he did not speak English, was very courteous and helpful and an excellent driver.
The apartment was newly renovated with good taste (which was not the case with another apartment operator that we stayed with), well-decorated, compact but comfortable. The apartment was well-equipped with wifi, telephone, oven, washer, triple pane glass (since we were close to a main boulevard - kept the apartment quiet), soaps and a crib (the owner did not have a crib for us so went out and bought one to make our stay with the baby more comfortable). We always felt safe there. If we needed anything, it was a phone call away. The entrace left a lot to be desired, but it was in the process of being renovated, and absolutely does not take away from the 5-star rating.
Good stay, good price, hospitality fabulous in a city that can be difficult. What else is there to say? We would go back and recommend to a friend.
