Calypso offers the same unmatched standard as all of our other homes with one further advantage. It is offered to you at a budget price for a million dollar location! With Horseshoe Bay and the Flying Fish Restaurant just metres away what more could anyone want? Perfect for wedding guests, young families and seniors.

Spotless with comfortable cane furniture, PLASMA TV & Video/DVD player and video library of 50 videos.

Calypso has a fully equipped, modern kitchen with European appliances, filtered water on tap, Miele dishwasher and front loading washing machine. Calypso features a modern clean bathroom with walk in shower. There is also undercover off-street parking for the family car.

At Calypso for your comfort there is a reverse cycle air conditioner and whisper quiet ceiling fans in each bedroom.

Calypso is a beautiful homette situated in the heart of Port Elliot. Cross the road for access to beautiful Horseshoe Bay or stroll 50m to the Flying Fish Cafe, it's all at your doorstep!

Calypso Port Elliot accommodates up to 4 or 5 guests, all on ground level.

Comprising 2-3 beautifully appointed bedrooms, with whisper quiet ceiling fans and all linen provided.

We offer as standard a queen room & second bedroom with 2 single beds. Two couples in your group? No problem at Calypso. For a small charge we can convert the twin beds into a king sized bed giving you one queen and one king room!

There is also a third bedroom with a single bed if required for an additional guest or extra privacy. A babies port a cot is also available.

All of the beds have quality dunas/quilts for those chilly seaside nights.

Enjoy the complimentary kitchen pantry, bathroom and laundry items supplied for your use. All of our homes are fully serviced by our staff on your departure ensuring you a relaxing conclusion to your holiday.

Calypso Port Elliot is situated in the popular township of Port Elliot. It is close to all facilities and the historic township as well as being conveniently situated on Horseshoe Bay, one of South Australia's best known beaches.

Just walk 25 m for direct beach access or stroll 50m to the famous Flying Fish cafe.

For the golfing enthusiast there are three championship golf courses in the immediate area, ask us, we have played them all. There are many quality wineries in the area and the famous McLaren Vale vintners are only a 20 minute drive away.

Calypso Port Elliot is only a one hour drive from the capital city of Adelaide, the Cape Jervis Kangaroo Island Ferry or Adelaide Airport. There are regular Stateliner bus services from the Adelaide Bus Terminal in Franklin Street to Port Elliot as well as an Adelaide Airport Shuttle Service provided by the Fleurieu Taxi Service (fees apply).

Perfectly positioned family holiday accommodation

Our family has spent our Summer holidays at this gorgeous apartment for 5 years now and we have booked to return for the 6th.
This apartment has the space and the amenities to suit our young family. It is only the shortest stroll away from the beautiful Horseshoe Bay and after a day playing in the sea and on the sand the apartment is a perfect retreat to eat, drink and relax.

Owner's Response: Calypso certainly is in a fantastic position just across the road from Horseshoe Bay and within walking distance of all of Port Elliot's attractions!
Being on the ground floor without stairs, fully appointed and self contained makes Calypso a perfect choice for young families and seniors!

My husband & I enjoyed a long weekend in this very comfortable clean & tidy unit, easy walk to eateries & shops, especially to the beach. Lots of good walking & bike riding tracks. Owners very helpful, would recommend.

Owner's Response: Thank you for your review as they do assist others when choosing their holiday accommodation.
When we purchased Calypso it was chosen as it was across the road from beautiful Horseshoe Bay and had the added advantage of being on the ground floor without stairs making it accessible for older guests, children etc.

Calypso is in close proximity to all of the attractions of Port Elliot and is just 50m to the Flying Fish café.

All of our homes are spotlessly clean and well maintained for our guests' comfort. We also pride ourselves in offering good old fashioned service including 24 hour telephone support.

We look forward to the opportunity of accommodating you again.

The Strand

Wander the Strand and you will find yourself moving in and out of craft shops, old buildings and cafes. At the end of The Strand is the mighty Southern Ocean and a viewing point over the beautiful Horseshoe Bay. This is a great spot to view the passing Southern Right Whales in the Winter.
