The friendly people at Viseisei village is the best thing about this location. Viseisei was one of the first villages to be settled by Fijians and is a very historical place. You can walk to the village along the beach and mingle with the villagers and learn about their customs and traditions. A natural hot springs mud bath (a definite must experience) and famous orchid gardens are only 15 mins away. Mountain hiking, river rafting, zip-lining, ATV rides, jet skiing, fishing and many more activities are all in the area.

A Fijian feast called 'Lovo' (food cooked in an underground oven) is a must while in Fiji. We can arrange a delicious private Lovo feast right at your villa and you get to help with all the preparations from marinating, weaving coconut baskets to hold the produce and building the fire for the hot stones. It's unforgettable great fun for the whole family!

There are local buses that run every 30 mins to Lautoka or Nadi. Taxis are available on short notice as well and are reasonably priced. Fijian hospitality is in our DNA. Don't get trapped in a small hotel room. Once you experience the real Fiji with us, you'll never want to stay in a hotel again.

There are no exit cleaning fees! Daily cleaning can be arranged, groceries/drinks/food can be purchased and delivered to your villa.

Security

Security at the villa is very poor. Property is NOT fenced. One guy walking around with a torch. We were burgled/property stolen. Some guy entered the villa through the window in the toilet whilst we were asleep. Lucky no one was hurt. This incident spoilt our holiday. We reported the matter to police, stolen items not recovered.

Not as advertised

I expect the owner will try to delete this. The advertisement is misleading. The photos are misleading. The place is tired, worn out, not maintained. It is dank, smells and “furnished” (barely) with worn out beds and lounges. It is not - as advertised - a walk to the beach, or occupied by the owners’ family. The Fijian employed staff did their best to present it, but in the end it was terrible. We left. The owner refused to properly refund. Be very cautious.

HOUSE OF BROKEN DREAMS - DIRTY AND UNMAINTAINED VILLA WITH AN EXTREMELY RUDE VILLA MANAGER MS VA

The 100m+ driveway was un-drivable. Extremely large potholes all the way to the villa. First thing that we saw on the way to villa was an overflowing garbage skip which remained on site till we left 10 days later. On entering the property i was disgusted to see how dirty and filthy the villa was inside. There were no basic kitchen appliances, and we had to borrow bowls from the ground staff's personal home kitchen. There were no high chairs available; the one on site was broken. There were lots of mosquitoes and flies due to vegetation. There is no air con in the open kitchen / lounge; only in bedrooms. There are no shelves for clothes storage; only a basic unstable hanging space. The sheets and towels were stained and looked filthy. Internet didn't work (and we were charged for over-using); TV reception terrible with cheap basic aerial. Kitchen cupboards hanging off hinges, dirty stained leather lounge, outdoor chairs-OMG! doors chipped with marks and scratches, very cheap fittings throughout the whole villa. very basic tub washing machine. Dryer was dented and kept tripping the switchboard and replaced / swapped with another that didn't work. During 10 days power went out every 2nd day. Hot water kept going off, gas kept going out every few days. Air conditioner in a bedroom had flooded the bedroom floor. One bathrooms was infested with cockroaches. There were ants inside food stored in kitchen pantry. One of the baths had flooded the floor - advised it "wasn't sitting on the waste outlet and Ms Va would move it across to align it". There was an extremely strong stench of raw sewerage suddenly appeared and disappeared. The powerpoint connecting the hotwater heating unit was taped with an old tape which was loose which contributed to hotwater outages. when we complained to the villa manager Ms Va, she was extremely rude and challenged the guests & was barred from coming near us. Spent2 days cleaning the floors and wiping the furniture. The villa is falling apart, obviously has not been maintained. We felt so sorry for all the wonderful ground staff who had to put up with the rude and arrogant Ms Va, who preferred to gallivant with other guests at her leisure, rather than attend to the problems. We were advised Ms Va had been with the company for a long time, classic case of the boiling frog. I so wish i could post photos of the villa to warn off others from similar disturbing experiences. Extremely overpriced rubbish.
