SUMMARY OF CASA PINOS 4 BEDROOMS, SLEEPS 12

We loved the location of this house, set in huge beautiful gardens with a gate leading directly to lovely unspoilt beach. The garden had sun and shade (pine and ornamental trees), a lawn area, bbq areas, sunloungers, outdoor tables and chairs. It was really great for our daughter to be able to run round and play in the garden, and it was romantic too-with no street lighting we could see all the stars and loved the sunset tradition of a steel band playing in a nearby bar as the sun sank over the sea-we could enjoy this from a table in the garden. The property was clean and nicely furnished, and Marie-France who showed us in was very helpful and friendly. We were lucky with warm sunny weather even in mid October and so could eat on the terrace outside-the living area of kitchen, sofabed and small dining table all in one room would have felt cramped if we had taken our meals inside. Being typical Brits we missed not having a kettle to make our tea! Otherwise the apartment was well furnished with new appliances (cooker, toaster, coffee maker,fridge) and a lovely hot, strong shower in bright cheerful shower room. As there were 5 of us we also used the 'studio' room which is attached to a nearby house in the same garden; this was very snug and comfortable with double bed and another very efficient shower room. We would not have been happy using the sofabed as this would make the apartment very crowded-it is ideal for up to 4 people with one room with doube bed and one with two singles. The whole 'finca' is very intriguing with two old thatched 'chozas' (typical Andalusian one room cottages) which I believe can be rented, and 2 houses each containing 2 apartments. We stayed in the downstairs apartment of Casa Pinos. I have been recommending the place to various friends and hope to return myself before too long.
