Amy's cottage is a cozy, 2 bedroom, 1 bath cottage secluded on a fenced, redwood covered acre. The cottage is an original homestead home of Del Norte County, We furnished with antiques in keeping with it's history. It is located in a central county location, surrounded by farms and forest. It is 5 minutes from Kellogg Beach, 5 minutes from the Smith River and 10 minutes from Redwood National Park. A new hot tub which is located under the redwood tree canopy next to the campfire ring awaits your arrival!

Trip to the Redwood forest

The cottage was about 8 miles from the little town of Crescent City nestled in the middle of beautiful redwoods. Very quiet. Very cozy.

Nice redwood cottage

Extremely quite , exactly what we wanted no noise away from people but close enough to whatever we needed , the place had a nice cottage feel, secluded and beautiful, would definitely stay here again

It was wonderful. The place was quiet and peaceful, right in the middle of a group of Redwoods. It’s very close to hiking trails. The owners were very responsive to my questions.

Fabulous Coastal Redwood Cottage

I so enjoyed my stay at Amy's cottage. It is just so cute, and surrounded by great redwoods, a semi-friendly burro, a great hotub and pleny to do! Not only is there beautiful beaches, a great aquarium and lighthouse, but the redwoods are just stunning, with two beautiful walks through them. Then there is Smith River, which is wonderful in it's own right.

After leaving the area for many years pursuing higher education and a career, I moved back in the Spring of 2021 with my family to raise my children in this beautiful landscape. We love spending time outside; hiking in the redwoods, searching for "treasure" on the beach, and swimming in the river during the warmer summer months.
