Awesome place for family and kids

We stayed there with our extended family of nine people including three kids under the age of 7 and everyone loved it, especially the kids. The pool was a huge hit with the little ones. Perfect for lots of different families to come together and have an extended family vacation in a really safe neighborhood

Seemed like it hadn’t been rented in some time…

Communication with the owner was very challenging. Emails disappeared (apparently deleted by a child?), redundant questions and conflicting information came through various emails. The host aoffered supplemental services for us (grocery shopping in advance, booking of massages, transport, etc) and then got frustrated bc she had to coordinate those things. The local house manager was supposed to meet us upon arrival, but showed up late and then rushed through a cursory orientation, seemingly before heading to her next appt. They had promised maintenance would come by to change a flickering bulb, but that never happened. All the bedrooms had exterior patio doors that didn’t lock, and one of the internal doors was missing a lock, and had paper towel stuffed into the hole. Dishes and glassware were dusty and dirty, and the house smelled like it had been closed up for a number of months. The community is lovely and the gate staff made us feel very secure, which was the only reason we were comfortable sleeping in unlocked rooms. The pool and backyard were great for hanging out and entertaining.

Amazing property, relaxing and entertaining. Great space for all activities. Close to down town Cabo

All the girls loved it here, rooms were well spaced everyone had a small slice of heaven in each room the property was AMAZING. Outside area is perfecting for entertaining we all had a blast and Cindi was super easy going and had everything ready for our arrival.

Great place, great times

We splurged and had a bartender and a chef come in for a few days which turned out to be fantastic, speaking as the guy who usually does a good share of the cooking for the group when we travel together. A few things were not what we expected, but we either didn't care, or we did and we called the property manager and they were taken care of right away. Everyone was very attentive to our needs and concerned about us enjoying our vacation.

About 20 years ago, my parents built a lovely condo near Cabo San Lucas within the community of Cabo Glorieta where I would bring my three children. Eventually, I also built within the development. However, with only 3 bedrooms and many friends who I wished to entertain in Cabo San Lucas, I bought into Santa Carmela, remodeled and transformed my villa there into La Villa Elegante to entertain my friends and family a few times a year. I have enjoyed some of my best vacations in Cabo, as there is something for everyone. Lying on the beach in lounge chairs having lunch at Mango deck, sipping 2-for-1 cocktails, and snorkeling in the warm calm waters of the Sea of Cortez are some of my favorite days. I am former CEO of a water sports business and lover of beautiful beach travel destinations. I was born and raised in Southern California and currently reside with my family in South Orange County.

A quick two-hour flight from Southern California, Cabo San Lucas is our travel destination because it has consistently good weather, wonderfully warm people, a relaxing atmosphere, miles of beautiful beaches, excellent golf courses, some of the best fishing, incredible spas, an assortment of outdoor activities and a lively nightlife all year around. New International flights are flying out of John Wayne Orange County, CA airport make for seamless travel to Cabo.

What makes this property unique

The fall of 2012 is the first time I have put my villa on VRBO, prior to that I kept it as my private second home. Thus, the villa is very much set up with that personal touch. I treasure this villa as my family has enjoyed so many great times in the five years I've owned it. You will quickly agree this isn't just a 'rental' property. I will cherish sharing my Villa de Elegante with you!
• Master Bedroom is the only upstairs room so is extremely private and includes a refrigerator, dressing area and balcony overlooking a lush landscaped back yard and pool. Doors open completely to maximize the view of the ocean and pool area. Master bathroom includes jetted bathtub, large mirrors, and private toilet.
• One bedroom has an ocean view deck accessible through double French doors from the backyard for the guests who want their own space.
• Large single story floor plan that has kitchen, living, dining and family rooms open that is perfect for multiple families.
• Living room area has sliding glass door system, which disappears into a pocket in the wall to create an open-air environment to yard for indoor/outdoor entertaining.
• Lush backyard is reminiscent of the most beautiful five star hotels.
• Beach-entry pool with waterfall and two built-in lounge chairs and private hot tub
• Cozy outside gas fire pit with built-in seating for socializing
• Open-air shower and bathroom near pool
