Large, quiet, clean, secure villa - awesome view

On a hilltop overlooking the picturesque and interesting old beach town of Cefalu, this excellent accommodation is clean, spacious, quiet and comfortable for four people. A car is required, and there is off-road parking directly in front of the unit. The large patio offers stunning views of Cefalu and the sea, and one can eat or read at the large table while gazing at the scenery. The kitchen is small but functional. Bedrooms are sparely furnished but comfortable with supportive beds. Bathrooms are fully equipped. English-language TV offerings are limited to CNN, CNBC, and BBC. Owners live below and are very friendly - available but not intrusive. We were apparently their first guests from the U.S., but they would welcome more. Their English facility is sufficient, but they prefer Italian or German. Cefalu, about 15 minutes away by car, is an old, quaint, interesting beach town with good shopping, sightseeing, and many decent restaurants overlooking the sea. Cefalu is just off the autostrada and has good train service to many Sicilian locations, with frequent service to Palermo. This is a wonderful accommodation in a great location.
