CASA RURAL LA TORRE are 4 houses recently refurbished and decorated in rustic style.

All the four houses comprise: large kitchen fully fitted with own washing machine, dishwasher, microwave oven, hob, oven, fridge/freezer, cutlery, cooking utensils, dinner service and glasses. Large dining and living room with chimney, TV, DVD, HIFI CD player with USB.

They are located in the middle of Alt Penedès, wine and cava area, surrounded by vineyards and nature.

The property has outdoor parking space, swimming pool with relax area and 2 BBQ.

This property is set in a working vineyard and so you are able to buy wine and Cava from the lady next door...perfect for us! Also, as mountain bikers we were blown away by the amount of amazing trails to ride in the area – the varied scenery is stunning.

The weather was kind to us in January and we were able to sit out by the pool to have our lunch most days with beautiful views of the vineyards.

We loved the open fire and Ignaz supplied a good amount of olive wood, so we could snuggle up every evening, watch a DVD and eat chocolate in a blissfully cosy lounge. Ignaz and Filipa are wonderful hosts and thoughtfully provided a kettle (we are British!!!) and were very quick to sort out a small WiFi glitch. But the stroke of genius was the charcuterie lunch and bottle of very fine Cava that awaited us on arrival. What a welcome.

The bathrooms were my thing though – they are light and airy with beautiful hand-made tiles – something that you don’t come across often in Britain and which highlights the attention to detail that has gone into the careful restoration of this property.

We hope to return :-)
