Lovely city holiday, with beach as well

Thank you to Marta and Vicente. From the helpful offer of help with airport transfer everything went very smoothly with this holiday. The apartment was clean, comfortable and attractively decorated. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for storage. The kitchen was well equipped.
The apartment's location could hardly have been better - very near the centre for shops and restaurants, the historic sights - Alcazaba and Gilbralfaro - and museums close by, a short walk to the beach. Market, supermarket and baker's right next to the flat. A lovely view of the castle from the terrace.
We would recommend this property for a family with children (like us) or for one or two couples. Malaga is a friendly and interesting town with plenty to see and a great atmosphere in the evenings - even in November there was lots of life on the streets with Halloween and a medieval festival. The apartment is around the corner from the Plaza de la Merced, full of tapas bars and people strolling which made a very nice walk into the centre of the town. The weather was even good enough for a couple of trips to the beach and a swim.
Marta provided help with car hire and other cities of Andalucia are quite accessible eg Cordoba, Seville, Granada and Ronda for day trips.
