Amazing Holiday

We Stayed at this Villa Sept 10. We flew into Tampa and although it was quite a long drive after a long flight it was an easy drive on the inter state nearly all the way. Everything at the Villa was as described and it was beautiful and clean. The pool area was amazing and got plenty of sun until late afternoon. There was plenty of seating areas and we ate all meals outside. We were met on our second day by the management company who told us everything we needed to know. They gave us a map of the area and marked restaurants shopping malls and places of interest ect. Most of the restaurants we visited were excellant we really liked one on the sea front at Fort Myres and loved the Yacht Club also at Fort Myres (a bit more expensive than some but well worth it) We found this area convenient for all the places we wanted to visit. We drove as far as Orlando and Miami but there was plenty to do and see much nearer to the villa. If you want a taste of old Florida try a trip to Pine Island.
For us the highlight of the holiday was the boat, which we hired with the villa, for the second week. We have never used a boat before and were a bit nervous but need not have worried. Captain Bob came to the villa and went through everything we needed to know, and took us out for a short lesson. We decided to hire Captain Bob for the rest of the morning to show us around a bit more, this was very reasonably priced and I would strongly recommend it to first time boaters. After this we were able to go out on our own with confdence and visited severasl places our favourite being Cabbage Key. All the family enjoyed the boat and we would recommend if you are hiring the villa to try and hire the boat for at least part of your stay.
We have visited Florida several times in the past but this was one of the best there were six of us and something in this area for us all, from shopping, parks wildlife, beaches, to boating and deserted islands. All in all we had a great holiday and would recomment the Villa and area to anyone considering a holiday in Florida.
