Summary of Le Caveau 3 Bedrooms, Sleeps 6

We were two families with young children and we stayed here for a week at the end of May. It was perfect! The kids loved the pool and play area (with trampoline). We went for walks in the surrounding countryside, which is postcard perfect. The site is off the beaten track, so it would be necessary to have a car, and there are lovely little villages all around to explore.
The villa is as described and did not disappointed. In fact, it's even lovelier than the photos. The drive to the beach is about 30 minutes away, and there are many to choose from. Be wary - there are a lot of naturist/nudist beaches and we made the mistake of going to one (not realizing it, of course!). It was fine, but just a bit strange to be the only clothed people on the beach. I would suggest going to Valras Plage if you have kids. It's a bit touristy, but it's got everything you need, ice cream stands, play areas, souvenir shops, people with their clothes on, etc.
Jorge and Anja are superb hosts and very helpful. Tip: ask Jorge for a wine tasting if he's able to do it. The Domaine St Ferreol wines are fantastic and the old cellar is a sublime place for a tasting, so atmospheric. Jorge even took us into the vineyard to see the grapes growing and told us about the different varieties, etc. Very interesting.
All in all, I heartily recommend this place. Our family hopes to visit again one day!
