The Lakehouse is the perfect rental for multiple families wanting a joint vacation, family reunions, ladies or men's getaways, etc. There is something to do for all ages and for all times of year. Our 'going to the cabin' is about being together and absolute comfort. Whether you take advantage of the summer, lazylake days or the cozy, snowy weekend, you will love the warmth and comfort of Pelican Lake Lodge. Beautifully furnished with pieces from Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, Wisteria, etc.

Great family time on the lake

The property was "as advertised" and highly usable by our family of 10. Plenty of space for dining together, hanging out together or in smaller groups. The beach was great for the little ones with shallow sandy water that made it easy for them and the adults watching them. We've already booked for next year!

5 STAR. Another great stay at Pelican Pines

This was our second stay at Pelican Pines. The first stay in 2022 was great and this one was even better. Stacy and Mike are excellent owners and want to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. The home is suburb. Very clean and spacious. The first floor layout is perfect and great for hanging or entertainment. There is an upstairs bunk room that is perfect for preteens or teens. We had two different families at two different times totaling 10 and it was perfect. The yard is great for all sorts of activities. Pelican Lake is challenging with it's depth but the water quality is excellent and a great beach area. Especially for young kids. The only challenge is the upstairs couch is so comfortable that you may not be able to stay up if you are watching a movie! Overall a great place to stay that kind of feels like your own for your stay. Really great spot for family and friends.

The property is owned by a family that lives in the Mpls area and make their professional living in Mpls as builder/renovators as well as interior design and real estate.

Why they chose this property

We started looking for a Lake property last summer. We looked on Gull, the Whitefish chain, and Pelican. Our goal was to find a wonderful cabin/lakehome that was large enough in size to accommodate 14+ people and have that wonderful feeling of sand and pine trees. When it came to a sand beach, Pelican was an easy choice. The sand is beautiful! Totally flat yard makes it great for everyone from young families to Grandma and Grandpa. We were captured as soon as we turned onto N. Pelican Lane and drove down the winding, tree-lined road. The property is almost 1 acre and has pine trees lining most of the side elevations down to the water.

What makes this property unique

Our first set of friends that visited the lake house described it as 'Vail meets the Northwoods' The house is extremely warm and comfortable but also very stylish. No expense has been spared to provide a high end resort like expereince. The combination of the sand beach, house, and location are unparalleled in the area. WE hope you love it as much as we do!
