Delightful Provençal Waterfront Apartments with Pool. Les Loriots has breathtaking uninterrupted views over the beautiful River Gardon and its beaches below, its gorges opposite and nestles in the rocks in its own pine wood. The house nicely divides into four private apartments each with its own terrace and delightful river views and is just above the waterfront and beaches and adjacent to the lovely old French village of Collias.

This delightful brand new cozy light and airy apartment has its OWN TERRACE WITH VIEWS RIGHT ALONG THE RIVER VALLEY below. It probably has the best river views in the house. It has lots of windows looking out onto the lovely pinetrees, the cliffs and the river which gives you the feeling of being surrounded by nature. It is the smallest of the apartments but it is private and has a good-sized sitting-room with French doors onto its terrace, a television, wifi and DVD player, a good quality sofa-bed, a brand new open-plan kitchen with cooker, fridge and washing-machine. It also has a double bedroom with wardrobe, a shower-room with basin and a separate WC. There is air-conditioning and electrical heating. The apartment is extremely carefully designed, full of charm and very welcoming. As with the other apartments there is constant easy access to the swimming-pool.

The village of Collias has restaurants, a boulangerie and local supermarkets all within 3 minutes walk of the house. In this area of outstanding, natural beauty you can walk for hours along the banks of the Gardon. You can take a picnic and find your own private beach for a swim, on foot, by canoe or even by bicycle. There are numerous beautiful birds along the river and other wild-life. You can even see beavers if you know where to look.

The magnificent Pont du Gard, which is the largest Roman aqueduct in Europe, is just 6 kilometers east and is accessible by car or by canoe. The beautiful 11th century town of Uzes is 12 kilometers away and boasts amongst its many old buildings a splendid castle and cathedral. The wonderful Place aux Herbes with its old cafes, shops and restaurants has a Saturday market which is one of the most popular and colourful in the region.

Avignon and Nimes, Montpellier, Arles, Aix-en-Provence, Montpellier the Camargue and the Mediterranean are all nearby.

So nice an apartment ! i was there with my husband and we were so happy : listening to the music river on our private terrace in the sun ! we took all our breakfasts and dinners there ! so nice ! everything was brand new : from tv to shower to bed ... and we had a very nice stay !
the hostess is very present to all our questions and requests.
Uzes and his market is very near such as Avignon
a real nice place we can warmly recommend

When you get here you can't believe how much better it is even than the video! This great little apartment is really comfortable and pleasant to live in with windows all around, and out on the terrace you are in virtual privacy but with the most incredible views over the local gorges and right along the river. The village is just nearby and you can walk to restaurants, shops, the bar and even the local wine cave where they make excellent wine which has won all sorts of prizes. My husband and I will be back next year, definitely.

Lovely retreat, relaxing in a beautiful setting

We stayed for a week in June and had a lovely time. The apartment is small and cosy with a really lovely terrace with views over the pool and the river. Apartment had all conveniences you can need, very lovely and helpful owners who were happy to assist if we needed anything. The location is amazing can honestly say it has the best views and walks around in the area. The little village (close 5 minute walk from the house) has all you can need but you will also find lovely markets and farms all around the region.
The pool was a real added bonus especially on the few hot days we had. Overall lovely stay, we will be back!

What a lovely spot ! Having stayed in two other apartments at Les Loriots in the past
we were delighted to be among the first to stay in this pretty, cosy apartment which is the smallest of the apartments but which offers everything you would expect from a bigger one. It has windows all around with views of the river and the scenery around the house, it is very independent and is very well equipped. Allie was as usual very helpful and friendly. We’ll be back for sure.

Stunning location with dramatic views

Well furnished apartment and kitchen with a lovely lounge with views to two sides. The outside terrace means that shade or sun (as required) can always be found. A lovely swimming pool with room to get a proper swim.
Views are outstanding from the terrace which benefits from a gentle breeze in the evening. Look out for eagles, heron, owls, beavers and egrets.
Close to the town which has good Bistro and restaurants and there is also a fine boy anger.
Local Cabotines wine was the best we found at the wine festival in Uzes, a beautiful old town that is worth many a visit. The roman Pont du Gard is close by as is Avignon, both worth seeing.
Overall a location that would suit relaxing holidays, wine tasting, touring or there is plenty of activity on the river for those who want to be a little more adventurous.
This is our second visit, so good that we booked the whole house and brought friends, we will be back.
