Nestled in the heart of a green haven, 'La Goutte du Chat' chalet was made for nature lovers.

Imagine yourself perched on the top of a hill, comfortably settled on one of the wooden south-facing terraces, gazing out at the forest, and listening to the stream flowing between the majestic pine trees. You might even be lucky enough to see a deer drink from the stream!

Everything has been thought of to ensure your comfort: 220 sq.m living space that can accommodate up to 16 people in a family or group of friends. Upon returning from a hike, mountain biking, trip to the Vosges, or a long day of skiing, you will love warming yourself by the fire or relaxing in the sauna and jacuzzi.

We chose this location for its beauty, quiet, and serenity, and we hope that you will also be able to enjoy our property.

New: due to the increasing demand for Wi-Fi access, we have installed Wi-Fi in the chalet as well as a number of German channels.

Ideally located on the outskirts of Gerardmer, the chalet on Bresse road is just 5 minutes from the city centre (where there are all the shops and services you will need) and 4 km from the lake. You can also head to the ski slopes without using the major roads, which will be helpful to avoid traffic during busy periods.

    The remaining balance must be paid 3 weeks before your stay.
    Payments can be made by bank transfer or by cheque.
    A security deposit of 1000€ is due before your stay.
    It will be refunded at most 1 month after your departure.

    The rental prices for end of year periods are available upon request.
  • Weekend stays are from Friday (4:30 pm) to Sunday (7:00 pm). Week-long stays are from Saturday (6:00 pm) to Saturday (10:00 am). For other periods (long weekends or mid-week stays), feel free to contact us and we will try our best to accommodate you.

    When you arrive, you will be personally welcomed by us so that we can show you the chalet and equipment in detail.
    We are available to answer any of your questions before and during your stay.
  • Non-contractual booking deposit: 30% rent
  • Damage deposit: EUR1,000.00

The chalet has 5 bedrooms: 2 bedrooms on the lower level, including a bedroom with 1 double bed (140 x 200 cm) and 1 bedroom with 2 x 2 bunk beds (90 x 200 cm). On the ground floor, there is a bedroom with 1 double bed (140 x 200 cm), and upstairs, there are 2 bedrooms, including a bedroom with 2 x 2 bunk beds, and one more bedroom with a double bed (140 x 200 cm). There is one sofa bed for 2 people on the mezzanine. 2 baby cots are available if needed for the little ones. The beds all have pillows and duvets. If you would like to rent bed linen and bathroom linen, there is a charge of 8€ per person on top of the rental price.

The carefully laid out chalet has all the furnishings to give you a comfortable and delightful stay: 2 flat screen TV's, 2 DVD players, billiards table, sauna, jacuzzi for relaxation, as well as accessories for raclette and fondue, and a fully equipped kitchen (pyrolysis oven, dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator/freezer ...). Outside on the terrace, there is a large table that can seat 16 people. A BBQ and lounge chairs are available for you to use.
