DETACHED VILLA ON 3 FLOORS,4 BEDROOMS,3 BATHROOMS,GAMES ROOM, POOL, GARDENS

An spacious and comfortable detached villa, on 3 levels in a non-estate position, with a private and secluded pool surrounded by palm trees. The villa sits in its own gardens of palms and cactus, with pretty shaded seating areas, a fish pond, and a private BBQ area with seating. The villa occupies a unique position, a few minutes stroll from natural coves, well stocked supermarket, bars & restaurants around the village square, which has a safe chilldrens play area. A special feature is the ground floor games room, with a bar, well stocked juke box, small pool table, dartboard(please bring your own darts) and cloakroom. The lounge is cool and spacious with access to the lower terrace and BBQ area. On this floor also is a sunny breakfast room which opens to the terrace, a shower room with WC. On the top floor is a full length sun room with sliding smoked glass windows and superb views, a Master bedroom, 2 further double bedrooms, 2 x singles, a family bathroom and a further shower room

La Coveta Fuma: La Coveta Fuma is a small Spanish village nestling in a beautiful green valley between Alicante & Benidorm, just a few minutes’ drive from El Campello with the stunning palm lined promenade,great bars and restaurants and fantastic sandy beaches. Visit the fantastic marina and the lively fish market. Traditionally Spanish & totally unspoilt Coveta Fuma is one of the delightful safe, sheltered coves around the area with a well stocked supermarket, a good selection of bars & restaurants in the village square with kiddies play area. Coveta has relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, but is far from being remote, in fact the main scenic coastal railway linking Alicante in the North to Denia in the South is just a short stroll away. Fast, reliable and gloriously cheap, the views are breathtaking; passing through countless towns & villages, Villajoyosa, Altea, Calpe. Shop in the bijou boutiques & colourful markets, enjoy tapas & wine in a promenade cafe or relax on one of the endless beaches.

EL CAMPELLO.: El Campello, Where Sea and Mountain Meet

El Campello is about 14 kilometres from Alicante. Situated in the heart of the Costa Blanca, it has 23 kilometres of coastline with beautiful beaches, hidden coves, orange and lemon groves and breathtaking mountain views. Broad sandy unspoilt beaches such as Muchavista, cliffs and small coves, such as those of La Coveta Fuma or La Venta La Nuza. Its crystal clear waters and excellent year-round weather make this an ideal place for water sports such as sailing, scuba diving and windsurfing. El Campello also has a diving club and a sailing club, and a lively fish auction every evening of the year, Monday to Friday on the port. Hiking and walking and cycling routes can be found in the surrounding mountains. Dominating the port is the tower, constructed between the years 1554 and 1557, to ward off the attacks of the Berberiscos Pirates. Also in this area is the archaeological remains of the Iberian (IV B.C.), Roman and Islamic civilisations.

Costa Blanca North: Benidorm with its incredible non-stop nightlife great shops and fabulous entertainment is a just a 40 min drive away, or visit Alicante with its bustling cosmopolitan harbour, promenade and designer shopping and fascinating old town. It is also the main rail link to the magnificent theme park Terra Mitica with its lavish setting and heart stopping rides, there's Terra Natura for animal lovers & the water park Aqualandia for amazing flumes & tropical waterfalls.

The surrounding countryside and mountains are spectacular and within 0.5 hours drive from the coastline. The scenery is beautiful and dotted with fascinating mountain villages, all with a history and a story to tell. Views from the lofty mountain fortress of Guadalest rival those from anywhere else in Spain, and it is said that you can see as far as Ibiza on a clear day. An incredibly varied cultural experience awaits those willing to explore the area, as a Bavarian influence blends comfortably with the old Catalan traditions.

Coveta Fuma is a pretty coastal village approximately a 25 minute drive from Alicante Airport. The area is delightfully secluded and somewhat rustic but with all the facilities that make for a relaxing holiday. Child safe friendly coves, restaurants, supermarket & a local train service are a short walk away. Our nearest town is the enchanting El Campello with banks, market, good shopping areas (great shoe shops!).and long sandy beaches. Stroll around the lovely harbour, watch the fishing boats, take the little train along its coastal routes and visit, Denia, Calpe, Benidorm, Altea, and Villajoyosa (fantastic beach and weekly market), The theme park of Terra Mitaca, the delphinium Mundimar, and water world Aqualandia are in Benidorm for those who want a little adventure. Golfers will delight in the number of championship courses nearby , and a visit to the local golf course of Bonalba is essential, ladies to visit the Spa and Beauty Salon, and Sunday lunch in the luxurious Club House.

There are over fifteen 18 hole golf courses in the Costa Blanca, all within a 2 hour drive of Alicante, and four of them are within a 25 minute drive from Coveta.

Alenda Golf Club, just on the outskirts of Alicante at the foot of the Sierra de las Aguilas mountains, with an 18-hole spread over a gentle terrain giving a par of 72.

Alicante Golf Club, located in San Juan again on the outskirts of Alicante and close to the 7km San Juan beach is a modern 18-hole golf course designed by Seve Ballesteros and opened in 1998.

Bonalba Golf Club and Spa, stunning views are part of the package with this 18-hole golf course. Situated on the outskirts of Alicante at the back of the golden sands of San Juan beach, the course can be enjoyed year round.

Real de Faula Golf Club, Real de Faula Golf Club offers two 18-hole Jack Nicklaus designed golf courses, and is the most exciting new golf club project on the Costa Blanca for almost 10 years. The North Golf Course (championship) is Par 72 and 6626 metres. This golf course, whose features are typical of Nicklaus designs, is an American style course with broad fairways, and exquisitely moulded greens; it is more than 6,612 meters long. Players on this course can enjoy outstanding views of the Mediterranean, and the Finestrat mountain range. And the South (Executive )golf course is Par 62 and 3858 metres.

Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency (British Pound) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the owner / advertiser.

Notes

  • We require a non refundable deposit of 15% with each booking, with the non refundable balance to follow 6 weeks prior to arrival. We also advise that officially, entry to the villa is 16.00 hours on the day of arrival with departure at 10.30 hours to facilitate the change over cleaning, however if all cleaning is completed then access is immediate. If you have an early arrival or late departure time, please contact us at your earliest convenience. Late bookings of less than one month - full payment (non refundable) will be required. Transfers to and from the airport available on request. If you have a late flight, please advise us whether you require any provisions to be supplied in the villa. A travel cot is available in the villa. We do not charge for laundry or end of stay clean but if a mid way laundry change is required for fortnightly bookings a charge of €75 will be made payable in location.
  • Our villa is exceptionally spacious, laid out on three floors with many 'quiet' areas around the villa, and even with eight people sharing there is plenty of space to relax, with a spacious and ariy lounge, snug breakfast room, and separate and spacious kitchen, four double bedrooms and three bathrooms and the gardens surrounding the villa. There is a wide bar b que area with attractive views, and a quiet area beneath our giant date palm! The ground floor games room is extremely popular, spacious with a bar, juke box, darts board and snooker table, a fun place to relax in the evenings or rainy days. The spacious top balcony/winter room has smoked glass sliding windows, and is an excellent area to relax in, cool in the summer and with the windows closed in the winter, a perfect sun room. There are no 'hidden' extras. We are sure you will enjoy our special villa

  • The Master Bedroom is exceptionally spacious with windows to the and side with access to the fully glazed top sun terrace/winter room, with a king sized sofa bed and a cot., bedside tables and wardrobe. This room is an ideal family room to share with young children, with the added advantage of the full family bathroom opposite. The second bedroom is another double bedroom with floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes, and bedside tables.The third double bedroom overlooks the BBQ area and has floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes, dressing table and bedside tables.The fourth bedroom has twin beds and floor to ceiling fitted wardrobes. All bedrooms have air conditioning hot and cold units. There is also another shower room and wc on this floor. Notes:
Our villa has remote controlled air conditioning hot and cold units in all bedrooms, horizontal blinds to all patio doors. The front terracing is sheltered from the sun by remote controlled sun canopies and runs the full width of the villa and has a walkway overlooking the pool. The spacious and cool lounge has 2 full walls of double glazed sliding doors to wide terracing and bbq area. The breakfast room has a free standing A/C unit. On the top floor is a beautiful long sun room with a full wall of smoked glass sliding doors, and in the warm months they slide back providing lovely views to El Campello and in the winter provide a warm and comfortable relaxing area for all the family. The games/party room, although a part of the main villa, is completely private and has French doors to a patio designed as a giant chess board, ideal for entertaining this room is spacious with a separate WC, bar area, well stocked juke box, small pool table and darts board(Please bring your own darts)

Thanks to Maureen booking our transport, we had a stress-free arrival to our villa. Our party consisted of 2 Adults 50+, 3 Adults 20+, 1 teen, 1 child & 1 infant, we definately got the perfect villa and destination for our holiday. First impressions on arrival of the villa itself, although a slightly older building than what we were expecting it was clean and well kept. The layout of the building took a day or so to get used to but the space was amazing. The pool was a great size, as another review said the picture doesn't do it justice but we had a pleasant surprise because we thought it would be a lot smaller, and because it is gated off there was piece of mind with young children running about. There was a massive selection of CDs/DVD's & videos, as well as plenty of books to choose from, no TV but that was barely missed. The local shop was brilliant, sold more things in there than the bigger supermarkets in El Campello. The Tram station is only a 3 min walk, probably the only negative part of our holiday was trying to work out the timetable, no problem in getting to your destination, they just didn't want to leave you off on the way home again. The local bars & restaurants were all very friendly and most helpful. The pubs closed at 1pm so not the place to go to if looking for a night out but for family's they were perfect. All in all an Excellent holiday was had, so much so we were trying to get back next year and it's booked out already!

there were a group of us who stayed at the villa for a week five adults ages20-23, two adults aged 40 and one baby aged 9weeks this is a great family villa has loads of room for everyone,the pool is great in the photo it looks great but even better once your there, brian and maureen were a great help when we were there gave us all the information we needed for getting around and whats around, there are a few steps up to the villa so not the best for elderly but lovely villa and will def be going again

Absolutely AMAZING Holiday & Villa! Definately Reccomend. Brian Was So Lovely, He Met Us On Arrival And Showed Us Around And Was Only A Call Away If We Needed Anything. The Villa Itself Was Very Clean & Tidy & Alot Bigger Than What We Thought! The Pool Was Lovely, The Picture Really Doesnt Do It Much Justice, Its Much Bigger Than It Looks. There Was 8 Of Us In The Villa With Ages Of 9weeks old, 3x 21year olds, 1x 22year old, 1x 23year old & 2x 44year olds & There Was Plenty Of Room For All Of Us! The Location Of The Villa Was Lovely, It Was So Peaceful With A Little Shop 2mins Walk Down The Road & The Tram Station Across The Road From The Shop. The Tram Was Sooo Good, Comes Every 30mins & Takes 5-10mins To Get To El Campello Which Is Full Of Shops & Restaurants & A Gorgeous Beach. & The Tram Also Goes The Other Way To Benidorm Which Takes About 30mins & Its A Defo Must See Place :D Overall We Loved Our Holiday & Would Definately Go Again :D

Girls Break

A group of us 'girls' decided we needed a short break away , and this villa (COULD NOT BELIEVE THE SIZE AND SPACE!) and Coveta Fuma proved to be the perfect place! The villa was beautifully kept with masses of room, huge lounge, sep kitchen and a breakfast room as well as the terraces, lovely views, four double bedrooms and 3 bathrooms!! and just a few minutes’ walk to the little cove and centre. The little train running into Alicante proved to be an absolute godsend as none of us wanted to drive. Had enormous fun in the great games room, and loads of terrace space to sunbathe. Pool was just perfect, very secluded, and lots of chill out space in the gardens. Great library of books, DVDs and CD. The centre of Coveta has great bars and places to eat, the little supermarket, the end of the road bakes fresh bread and pastries every morning, and it well stocked. Jump on the train and just one stop takes you to El Campello town, absolute lovely long sea front with numerous bars and places to eat. The villa is taken care of by Brian and Maureen, extremely knowledgeable about the area and transport, and they were so helpful and friendly. It is great to have someone to greet you on arrival. Fabulous stay, needed longer! Great Villa, would thoroughly recommend it.

Lovely villa

My family and I, 4 adults and 2 children stayed in this villa last month. The villa was lovely, plenty of space and nicely furnished with great views from the terraces but it would have been nice to have more than just 4 loungers as ,when the villa is full ,i am sure it would be a case of first come, first served!The pool was beautifully kept and safely gated but did not have a lot of space around it for everyone to be there at one time.The games room could be improved though as some equipment was broken, I.e juke box, darts, pool cues etc. A nice touch is the huge amount of books, videos, DVDs and CDs available to use although no television or WiFi which, however , didn't bother us.Other than that the villa matched up to it's description.One bad point is the driveway to get into the house. It's extremely steep and , as the owner leaves his large car at the top, this makes it even more difficult to get on to it and we had to leave one of our cars on the main road which was not ideal.Take note if you are a nervous driver! There is very little around the area so a car is a must. Corveta Fuma is residential so not much there but at El Campello, the nearest town, there are plenty of bars,restaurants and shops.The small supermarket very close to the villa is very expensive and, except for nice fresh bread, has very limited supplies.The villa is looked after by a property management company who are an English couple who met us on arrival and departure and cleaned the pool twice a week and are available for any problems arising.The area as a whole is well worth visiting as there are some beautiful places to visit within easy reach, even the horrendous Benidorm should you desire to go! All in all we enjoyed our stay at the villa but just feel that some aspects of it need a bit of TLC.
