'LE NOSTALGIQUE' is ideally located in the heart of Cannes, the 'Carré d'Or'.

It perfectly suits business people since walking distance to the 'Palais des festivals' (Congress & exhibition center) is only 3min, the sea as well as to the most well known shopping street 'rue d'Antibes' being only 30sec away!

Everything is reachable within less then 10min walking distance: 5 star hotels, exclusive stores like Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Rolex and Fred, restaurants, cinemas, night clubs, public as well as private beaches, the old port and the old town.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor (there is a lift) and has 2 balconies and 1 terrace on which you can enjoy your meals. The living room balcony has a partial sea view.

LE NOSTALGIQUE is very bright and is equipped with air conditioning through out.

It also has its own secure underground parking = 20.-E per day. Hight restriction: 180cm

ATTENTION: a new kitchen + 2 new en suite shower rooms (very big showers!) since March 2011.

Guest comments: We booked LE NOSTALGIQUE for 2 weeks during the Film Festival and really appreciated the space and the proximity to the congress hall.

We also appreciated the big flat screen TV and the good wireless internet connection.

And since LE NOSTALGIQUE is so nicely decorated with pictures of film stars, we invited clients to our place for a glass of champagne.

Everybody was delighted and we wish to book again next year.

Guest comments: Fun, fun fun... That's all we had in Cannes... What an amazing place!!! 'See and be seen', dance, party, swim and relax. LE NOSTALGIQUE is right in the middle of it all. Great apartment really, so close to sea, shopping, harbour, old town and railway station. There were so many artists and we even saw a few stars, yes we did!!!

And the sky: sooo blue! Every day!!! We loved it and will definitely come back.

Location, location, location! LE NOSTALGIQUE is steps away from the sea front and famous rue d'Antibes. Only 3min to the congress hall!!! No car needed. Restaurants, luxurious designer shops and Cannes' 5 star hotels.

This is a spacious (75m2) apartment with sea view. It is very bright and modern and in a well maintained building. It has 2 big balconies, 1 terrace and also a secure parking. The market on place Gambetta is only steps away.

Nearest Train : Cannes at 1 Kilometres
Nearest Motorway : Cannes at 5 Kilometres

Best location in Cannes! No car needed since 'everything' is within 10min walking distance.

Take the airport bus from Nice or come by train. Then walk for 10min from the bus / train station to the flat.

Cannes is famous for its film festival and it's very mild climate with blue sky most of the year.

It is ideal for holiday since beaches are all sand and very close to the apartment.

There are great restaurants near by and a beautiful promenade.

During July and August above the sea of Cannes, at least 5 magnificent fireworks (sound + music) are presented each year.

The romantic old town of Mougin is within 15min drive and the 'Esterel' mountains are great for hiking.

Most well known actors are coming to the city during mid May.

Cannes is also famous for its congresses and exhibitions.

Where else could you sit in your business suit at the beach for lunch and return to the flat for a quick shower?

By train: 40min to Nice, 1hrs to Monaco and Italy! 20min to pretty Antibes. During summer: ships to St. Tropez, around 1.30hrs

Other Activities: all water sports, tennis, golf, canyoning, paragliding, skiing (within 1hrs drive) ...

  • The apartment was fully renovated and refurbished in February 2007. Only quality material used. All 4 single beds are 90x200cm. Usual French standard length is 190cm. We can accommodate tall people! All beds can be converted into double beds: 180x200cm The sofa bed is in the living room. Size: 140x200cm. The sofa bed is a small double, best for 1 person or 2 children who do not need much space...Its mattress is 15cm thick which makes this convertible very comfortable. LE NOSTALGIQUE is also used by business men as many congresses in Cannes. This is why we have opted for 4 single beds rather then doubles. There is a direct access from master bedroom to one of the 3 balconies. We also have a 'deluxe' baby bed with integrated music, light and vibration mode as well as integrated changing table and bag (nappies, oils, creams ect.).

We have strong wireless internet. Also: Samsung LCD 17inch wall mounted flat screen in the living room: all UK and French national channels + many international free channels. Secure underground parking on -2. hight restriction: 180cm Cost: 20.-E per day. Higher + longer cars: parking LAUBEUF, at 1.4km, at harbour, outside! for babies: Plastic cutlery (plates + cups), 1 high chair for a child up to 2 years, a baby travel cot + blankets. This fashionable cot has integrated music, a changing table plus a bag hanging to its side (for baby oils, nappies etc.) Re smoking: Should people feel an urgent need to smoke, this can be done on the balconies (there are 3!). Please DO NOT SMOKE inside the apartment since all is new and smelling good! I also manage a 2nd apartment (same street): please view L'AZUR, property 97430, 60m2, 2 bedrooms, 4 - 6 people, garage yes (building opposite). Both apartments can be booked together.

Amazingly renovated Apat. in fascinating City

We had a wonderful time in this recently renovated apartment which looks stunning! My family and I really loved this apartment as it is ideally situated in the heart of the city center, modern, cleaned and has a nice flat screen TV. Complimentary internet access is also available in the apartment. The pictures were exactly as described in the summary, and the apartment was perfect for our needs.
Ms. Bettina is very professional and accommodating. She was very helpful and friendly form the first email I have exchanged with her. When we arrived to the apartment, Bettina was waiting for us, she was a nice person and she tried her best to explain about the apartment and the nearby area, offering her service by asking us to contact her any time we need anything. She was very punctual upon our leaving to hand over the apartment back to her. Thank you very much Bettina and we do appreciate your great support and services.
This apartment is just few steps away from the shopping street with access to wonderful shopping boutiques, cafes, dining, grocery store, Cinema, Metro stops and a pharmacy as well.
The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms were spotless, and the living room is comfy and spacious. We loved that the landlord had some condiments in the kitchen (sugar, salt, pepper…etc) as well as paper towels and pots/pans. We really felt like we were living in Cannes. Definitely we will come back to this apartment.

The flat was precisely everything as described.

Large and spacious. Excellent bathrooms --- they have been remodeled with upgraded features.

Main bedroom is good size with a fab balcony. Plenty of closet space in the main bedroom, second bedroom and in the hallway.

Kitchen is excellent and upgraded. It also has a balcony as does the living room.

Unlike most European balconies which are small, all three in this flat are good size. Great afternoon sun.

Flat is clean. Excellent location to everything. Beach. Shopping.

We took advantage of the building's parking, which is subterranean. It is VERY hard to park in the spot, so have a small car. But it is worth it because any street parking, even if you could find it, is blocks away and any garage parking nearby will be the same rate.

Bettina, your contact in Cannes, is fantastic. Great when you set up securing the flat, when you arrive, during your stay and when you leave.

I will definitely come back and recommend it to others.

Re parking..., comparing to the States or Canada, where lots of space is available..., us here in Europe are used to manual gear boxes and small parking. Saying so, our parking entrance and way down is really wide and easy and our parking spots aren't smaller then any others here in Cannes. It is important to say, that it is so very convenient to have the car in the same building.Parking on the street is impossible and parking elsewhere wont be any cheaper.
So far so good. I hope to see you again in the near future.

Zum zweiten Mal war das Nostalgique unsere Ferienresidenz. Und wieder war alles perfekt. Mit dem umgebauten Bad und der neuen Küche hat das Appartement an Attraktivität sogar noch gewonnen. Die Lage ist perfekt: Strand, Bäcker, Laden, alles in unmittelbarer Nähe. Einrichtung lässt keine Wünsche offen. Jetzt ist mir schon klar, wie Gott in Frankreich zu leben. Bei so einer perfekten Location.

First of all I would just like to say "thank you" to Bettina for all her help...from my first enquiry to the hand over of the keys on our last day.

The flat was big enough for our family (2 adults and a toddler) and was clean and bright. There were no safety issues regarding having a young child there.

There was some noise at night from the below restaurants etc (more so on fri/sat) but as this apartment is in the centre of Cannes then you have to expect some noise. We had the ac on at night which droned out most of the noise. The owners have 2 windows and a shutter which helps with this. The rooms are very dark at night which is great.

Great showers, parking to the building is very convenient which also has a lift.

Would recommend to a family/group etc who wants to be in the middle of shops, restaurants, beach etc.
