Apartments with independent entrances and pergolas in the heart of Tuscany

“Il Bacio” Farm holiday is located in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan hills covered with vineyards and olive groves.

The ancient farmhouse, the former barn and the wood-house have been carefully restored and tastefully furnished, preserving the original structure together with the characteristics of old Tuscan houses.

Each apartment has its own independent entrance, a beautiful panoramic view of the countryside, and a private outdoor space in the shade of a grape pergola and equipped for outdoor lunches and candlelight dinners.

The salt-water swimming-pool (12x6 meters) is surrounded by a large garden facing the valley, from where it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view on the surrounding hills. Here, each apartment has its own beach umbrella, with deckchairs and comfortable sun-beds.

At “Il Bacio” we produce certified organic Chianti wine, grappa, and extra virgin olive oil, which may be tasted in the ancient wine cellar.

This is the largest and most charming apartment. Built in the former barn and restored in traditional Tuscan style with stone walls and red “cotto” floor tiles, it can comfortably accommodate up to six people. The “Fienile” consists of a large living-room with a kitchen corner, two double bedrooms, one bedroom with two single beds, and two bathrooms. The living-room and one of the double bedrooms have a wonderful view on our vineyards and the surrounding hills. The other large, beautiful double bedroom has an ensuite bathroom and a fireplace in it. From this bedroom, thanks to a huge glass wall, you can enjoy a beautiful view on the countryside. This room is connected to another bedroom with two single beds and an independent entrance. Outside the apartment there is a large, bignonia pergola with table, chairs, and a wonderful panoramic view.

“Il Bacio” Farm holiday is located in the heart of Chianti, surrounded by beautiful Tuscan hills covered with vineyards and olive groves.

From “Il Bacio”, located right in the middle of Tuscany, it is possible to reach: Florence in 30 minutes, Siena and San Gimignano in 40 minutes, Pisa and Lucca in about an hour. The Cinque Terre are approximately 2 hours away. Rome, Milan and Venice, are each about 3 hours away by car and less than 2 hours away by train.

In the surroundings there are several medieval villages and castles of great charm. The closest town - Tavarnelle - is about 3 km away. Close to the farm there are numerous Tuscan restaurants and trattorias.

Around “Il Bacio” there are also several foot and bike paths of remarkable panoramic and architectural interest.

  • Both prices per week than those night refer to the apartment and include all utilities (gas, electricity and heating), final cleaning, linen (bed and bath that) and a taste of our organic products. In low season, the price per night includes the breakfast basket. A down payment / deposit of 30% is required at time of booking, 100% refundable in case of cancellation up to 10 weeks before arrival and 50% for cancellations up to 2 weeks before arrival. For reservations for the period from July to August, is expected only a 50% refund for cancellations up to 10 weeks before arrival. No deposit required on arrival.

  • One of the two double bedrooms is particularly large, has an en-suite bathroom and is equipped with a fireplace. This room communicates with the children's room, where there are two single beds. The second double bedroom, which overlooks the vineyards, is adjacent to the living room and to a second bathroom. Each of the three bedrooms have exposed beams and terracotta floors and offer panoramic views of the valley and the surrounding hills.
