Summary of Honey suite 1 Bedroom, Sleeps 4

My wife and I have always wanted to visit Tuscany and so when I was trawling the internet one day and happened across the ‘Olive Tree suites’ a few enquiries were made to Alberto (the owner) and the ‘Honey suite’ was booked. Upon our arrival we were not disappointed. Set high up in the Montabalano hills the views were spectacular.
Our accommodation was great and came with a complimentary bowl of fruit, two bottles of wine and a bottle of olive oil – all home produced. We enjoyed a couple of days relaxing by the pool and the views of the countryside from the Jacuzzi were fantastic. We had hired a car for the week and visit to Florence and Lucca for the day were next on the list. The surrounding villages were within easy reach by bicycle (provided by Alberto) or car. We visited Porciano, San Baronto, Lamporecchio and Vinci, the birthplace of Leonardo. We enjoyed relaxing evenings cooking , sometimes using the BBQ and sitting on the large terrace until the early hours. We visited the local restaurant, about 10 minutes walk away, and tried the fillet steak, which was superb. On our last day Alberto and Natalia invited us to a evening party by the pool which had a live blues band for entertainment – what a great way to finish the holiday. Great weather, super location and lovely accommodation made this one of the best holidays we have been on. Thanks once again to Alberto and Natalia for making our stay so enjoyable. If we had to rate this vacation out of ten we would give it an eleven!
