We very much enjoyed our stay in this lovely French house with it's lofty ceilings, tiled floors and shuttered windows. It was very well equipped and the owners had left helpful information about rubbish collections, supermarkets, markets etc. It is in an ideal location - two minutes from the town square and one minute from le canal du midi. The lady in the Tourist Office on le Canal du Midi was very friendly. We would certainly like to return.

Perfect Stay

After a hectic Christmas and New Year we needed to unwind - and we found the ideal location. The house was so beautiful, spotlessly clean, everything we expected from the pictures and more! decorated to the highest standard oozing period character, but still feeling very homely and cosy. The bedrooms were a delight and the bed extra comfortable!!Every home comfort was provided for and we really enjoyed cooking in the wonderful kitchen.
The village was very quiet and peaceful - just what we needed for the time of year.We enjoyed lovely walks along the Canal du Midi which is just a couple of minutes from the house. We visited nearby Narbonne with its fantastic Cathedral, Beziers and further afield had a day in Nimes - well worth a visit the arena is just fantastic.
We definitely will return to this wonderful house in the summer, we imagined how lovely it would be sitting on one of the terraces enjoying the sun with a glass of wine. Definitely would recommend this house to friends and relatives.
Owner's Response: Thankyou for your comments Catherine, so glad you enjoyed your break in Capestang and especially pleased that you enjoyed staying at our house - and that it met your expectations. You will be most welcome in the summer - you will love sipping wine on the terraces in the sun - just don't forget your sun cream!!
