Giovanta Villa is built on a 950 m² property. In front of the house there is a pool with an integral children’s pool. Behind the villa there is the covered BBQ area, where, except of the BBQ you will find a traditional stone oven. At many points of the outdoor area there are garden sets where you can enjoy your meals.

The main part of the villa is 200 m² and consists of two floors. The entrance door opens to a sitting area with a formal dining set. The kitchen is equipped with all the modern amenities. A double bedroom and a bathroom are also fount on this floor. French doors lead from the sitting area to a veranda with panoramic view over Maleme village and the sea. Stairs lead to the upper floor that consists of three bedrooms – two double and one single - and two bathrooms. On the ground floor of the building, there is a small independent area of 50 m². It consists of a sitting area, a sleeping area, an open plan fully equipped kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom.

The impressive Giovanta Villa is located in Kontomari village, 1km away from Maleme, 1.5km away from the beach and 5km away from Platanias, the most popular resort of the west Crete. The area offers a panoramic view over Maleme village and its historical airport, the north cost line and the blue sea. The stone built villa is furnished with high quality pieces.

The private pool of Giovanta Villa is cleaned and sterilized by a salt system and it is more suitable for the people that have sensitivity to chlorine.

16 km west of Chania, in this very fertile corner of Crete, Maleme was famously the setting for the epic Battle of Crete in the last world war. Today the countryside is dominated by sweet smelling orange groves and whispering plantations of tall bamboo which fringe the mile upon mile of almost deserted pebbly beaches. Maleme has a good choice of tavernas, and a fairly large supermarket and although the village has undoubtedly grown in recent years, it still retains a pleasingly unsophisticated air and if you explore a little, you'll soon find the local baker and a real Greek butcher's shop. For a little more action the bustling village of Platanias is just under 4km away but if you prefer a slower pace of life and a rather more tranquil atmosphere, there are several sleepy villages located just inland.
