This charming and spacious house is set in 1600m2 of Garden. Four bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, large open plan lounge / dining room with spectacular views towards Sitges, Vilanova i la Geltru and the Mediterranean. Garden with own private pool, children’s play area with sandpit and tree-house, shaded French Boule pitch. Full size Mediterranean style BBQ area. Almond, Fig, and other fruit trees throughout the garden. Shaded, decked seating area with views towards the sea. The villa is located in the Catalan village of Canyelles which has a bakery (fresh bread and croissants), small supermarket, bank (cash point), paper shop, garage (delicious fresh bread throughout the day), pharmacy and several restaurants only 3 minutes drive away. 10 minutes drive away are the sandy beaches of the popular Mediterranean town of Sitges and Vilanova i la Geltru with excellent holiday resort facilities. A charming town square with a bar and outside seating area serving traditional Spanish Tapas.

All expectations met with good margin! Also very clean and tidy. The beautiful garden is equipped with all sorts of playgrounds and so, this place is highly recommendable, in particular to families/groups with young members. The surroundings are very attractive; and within an hour's drive most of them can be enjoyed. We were expecially amazed over the town of Sitges. The 5 star score would definitly have been awarded if services of a near by village could be reached within a morning walk. I would like to thank the owner for the very good customer service that he provided.

If you are thinking of booking a family holiday then look no further than this beautiful villa. The property is as Phil and Emma's brief states clean and well maintained with everything you need to have a stressfree holiday, but the property comes into its own with the outside space. Each area of the garden has been well thought out to cater for all age groups as well as the climate. My two young grandchildren (aged 2 & 4) explored the gardens on a daily basis and found something new every day. They had picnics in the tree house, hours of fun on the swings and don't understand why nannie doesn't have a pool in her garden so that they can continue to have as much fun when we return home. A car is a must even to go into the centre of Canyelles which we visited when the Sunday market was on, well worth a visit. The taxi service is also good which 4 of our party of 7 used to go to Sitges (20€) and then got the train into Barcelona (7€ return). This property is quiet and secluded but only a short drive away from everything that this beautiful coast has to offer with its beaches and excellent restaurants. I highly recommended this villa and commend Emma and Phil on the standard of the property.

Great Family Villa

This home gives to every person the possibility to enjoy of each particular ambiance of the house and garden.
Ideal for big families with children or even for group of friends.
The description is accurate regarding to the location, the reality is even better.
All facilities are present and it is a real pleasure to stay all time at home.
The kitchen has been equipped by persons who loves to cook! Nothing is missing and it is a real pleasure to activate in the kitchen.
I strongly recommend this place. However, a car is a must if you wish to travel around or go to the beach.

Our stay at La Torreta was a pleasant one. The villa has a homely feel to it, much nicer than a 'holiday appartment'. We spoke with the owners before our stay and they helped us clarify a few details beforehand. The process of booking/paying was very easy and straightforward.

The description was accurate and the owners provided a very useful booklet that told us everything we needed to know: how to get there, facilities, services, how to operate equipment etc. A lifesaver!

The property was clean, well maintained and well appointed with equipment, including a piano. The garden was huge, and has many different patio/seating areas. The fig trees were laden with fruit and a hit with the children, as was the tree-house! The swimming pool was clean and well maintained with plenty of sun loungers.

Overall, we would recommend this villa to a friend. Well appointed, beautiful gardens, convenient location and helpful owners...

Lovely Place

We are only a week into a fortnights break but are suitably impressed to submit a few words. Great house with a lovely garden ideal for toddlers. There is lots to see withing easy driving distance but I would highlight that there is lots of walking/running potential right out from the villa. It is possible to get up onto the highest hill nearby and see views of the all the whole area, from the coast to Montserrat. Additionally, the nearest bar/restaurant is only 15 mins walk away (as long as you are not averse to gradients) and quite charming. Overall we are having a cracking time.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway
