3rd Arrondissement Le Marais holiday apartment

Our family of six (two adults, four children 10 and under) stayed in this cozy apt. during a week in November. The apt. was just as expected, with comfortable beds, nice linens, and a very quiet atmosphere. The futon in the livingroom worked well, and plenty of extra bedding for a warm and comfortable night. The TV was difficult to figure out, but that might have been because of a European/French disconnect. The bathroom was pleasant and clean, with a nice shower. There are 3 flights stairs leading to the apt., so be prepared to carry your luggage. The is a great area of Paris, just a short walk to the Science museum and within 1 mile from everywhere you'd want to be for a Parisian adventure. It is unually set off the street by a courtyard and locked doors, which is great for safety and noise level. We couldn't even tell we were in a city it was so quiet, with the exception of the squeeky old wooden floors. The kitchen area is small, as you'd expect, but workable with new and clean appliances. The only down side to the apt. is the rather large deposit needed in cash, but i suppose that is typical of any rental. Also, as an American, we had difficulty using our mobile phone to reach our contact person when arrived, but this could be easily be remedied. We would definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris.

My wife and I and two teenage boys, stayed in this apartment for the August Bank Holiday. It was exactly what we wanted, comfortable, well equipped, and very well located. Everything was as it appears in the photos and was extremely clean and well maintained. It was also very quiet, being well back from the street. Public transport, shops, and the cafes and bars of le Maris were all within a very short walk. Booking was simple and straightforward and François who let us in (late arrival) was very friendly and helpful.

Would definitely stay again.

My family of five -- 2 adults and 3 teen & preteen children -- stayed in the apartment for 6 nights. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. A very cozy place but a little tight for five. Nice to have the free wifi. Francois was very accommodating in our check out time and helpful with the apartment and neighborhood. A reliable person to rent from!
