Gracious Comfort

Conveniently located near the center of Florence, yet removed from most of the tourist traffic, this clean, comfortable and spacious apartment is one of the most pleasant places we have stayed in. The amenities include double-glazed windows which cut noise from the street, a clothes washer/dryer, a dishwasher, and an excellent espresso/cappuccino maker. There is also television and wireless internet; and the furniture provides a comfortable place to eat and to relax in the evening. Behind the appartment is an outside area where you can sit and read and enjoy a cappuccino or grappa and, perhaps, a pipe or cigar. The neighborhood is rich in good restaurants and shops, including a food market from which you can get excellent cuts of meat and seasonal fruits and vegetables, from which you can prepare fine meals in the apartment’s well-supplied kitchen. All of this is well supported by the enthusiastically gracious Sergio Viti, who was available to answer any questions we had. He also helped us in other ways such as having taxis ready for us whenever we wished to travel beyond walking distance. We were Sergio’s guests for three weeks and found his apartment an excellent place from which to enjoy one of the loveliest cities in Europe.
