Delightful Waterfront Property in Beaulieu Sur Dordogne. This recently restored medieval property in a picturesque setting on the banks of the Dordogne River is divided into 2 apartments. 'Rose' on the first floor and 'Fleurie' on the top floor (see apartment tab at top of advert) both offer comfortable accommodation for 4 people and have superb views of the Dordogne and the Chapelle. The house is situated close to many amenities which include a large variety of restaurants to satisfy those gastronomic delights. Or should you choose a picnic on the banks of this beautiful river with its wonderful scenery. Beaulieu Sur Dordogne celebrates its famous strawberry festival each May, there is also a typical French market in the square every Monday, you will never tire of the produce this market town has to offer. For the water enthusiast canoeing and kayaking is available and a swimming pool complex with tennis courts and volleyball is located within just 5 minutes walk along the river

So much to see in and around Beaulieu Sur Dordogne which is situated in close proximity to the seven villages belonging to les plus beau villages de France (The most beautiful villages in France). Surround by medieval architecture this beautiful market town in the south of the Correze has a mild climate. It is sometimes compared to the Cote d'Azur. Its southern border location in the region makes it a popular holiday destination.

Well equipped recently renovated first floor apartment . One of only two apartments that make up 'Riverside House'' which has been tastefully converted from a medieval detached residence. Situated in the historic riverside quarter of the village the property is only meters from the Beautiful Dordogne river, and has easy access on foot to local restaurants, bars, and boulangeries for freshly baked bread and croissants. The apartment is fully self contained and is ideal for a family looking to take in the delights of the area. The 200 litre Balon provides lashings of hot water, and two double seater settees provide comfy relaxation next to the wood burner. The dining area has a table and four chairs, and the newly installed kitchen will suit even the most adventurous cook to try the local delicacies such as; canard, moulle, noix st jaques, and curvettes. In season pick up your locally produced vegetables, chicken, cheese and wine at the weekly farmers market held in the square outside.

Beautiful Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne nestles in the upper reaches of the Dordogne valley, and is close to Curemonte, Collonges-la-Rouge, Turenne, Carennac, Loubressac. Bealieu is a charming medieval town with its Romanesque Abbey, it's old and narrow streets and it's half timbered houses.

Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne is nicknamed tha 'Riviera of the Limousine' for its mild climate and profusion of palm trees, this town in the South of the Correze has an attractive historic quarter and most famously the outstanding Eglise St-Pierre, with it's south doorway dating back to 1125.
