WITHIN 5 KILOMETRES:

Glenelg Jetty Rd shopping strip, Ikea, Aldi, Adelaide International Airport. 3 gorgeous golf courses.

The apartment is not in the flight path. West Beach is the closest beach to Adelaide and yet very quiet and almost 'country like'.

Acushla is situated between the West Beach Surf Life Saving Club, 100 metres south for great views and meals and the Henley Sailing Club for coffee and light snacks. Further south is the Adelaide Sailing Club (open to the public for evening meals and Sunday lunch).

Glenelg to the south, a 4 minute car ride, has Jetty Rd busy with wonderful restaurants and excellent shopping.

There is a large black information folder with maps, tourism brochures, bus timetables, nearby restaurant menus and take away menus etc.

Dolphins, pelicans and sunsets!

Watch for dolphins and cruising pelicans!

Almost like clockwork, just before sunset, dolphins appear out front....

Photo #3 is of a pod of dolphins in a flat sea at sunset taken in November from the apartment with my mobile phone! Unfortunately, it's not a very good photo but there were at least 6 that I could see just swimming around for ages.

Late August, I spotted a dolphin and her calf directly in front of the apartment! And the baby started jumping right out of the water, again and again!

Just under 500 metres away to the north, is the River Torrens Outlet where pelicans wait for fishermen to hand feed them their catch! They can also be found on Henley Jetty, being just as patient and hopeful!

Straight across for the beach, easy walking distance to anything everything you need. Easy parking friendly neighborhood and neighbors. Beds comfortable, everything you need and could think of is there for you. Loved the location and will be back.

Hi there, I purchased my apartment in 2002 and rented it out for 8 years before deciding to turn it into a Holiday Rental. After extensive renovations, Acushla Accommodation began. I enjoy the Tourist Industry very much as it's always interesting.
I live 2 ks south of Adelaide and also have Acaill Accommodation at North Esplanade, Glenelg North. Both apartments keep me occupied, in a good way. Acaill Accommodation has also been extensively renovated.

Why they chose this property

I bought in West Beach particularly, as it is Adelaide's closest beach and best kept secret! Although very close to Adelaide, it is very quiet, yet Henley Square is less than 2 k's north and Glenelg about the same distance, south. It is so well situated and central to everything!
