Country House / Chateau, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths (Sleeps 6-11)

Tranquil setting just inside the city limits of Hutchinson, KS. Built on the west edge of a five acre pond. Great for fishing, swimming, or just laying back and relaxing. Located less than one mile from the Hutchinson Zoo, Hutchinson dirt bike/atv track, Carey Park, and Carey Park Golf Coarse. Within two miles of the Hutchinson Downtown Shopping, The Mall and Mall 8 Theaters, Underground Salt Museum, Hutchinson Sports Complex, Cosmophere Space Center, Kansas State Fair Grounds, and many fine Dining Establishments. We could probably fill two or three pages of different things you can do while you are staying at the Pond a Rosa Inn, but you will have to come and stay to see what we are talking about.

Hunting: The Pond is just out the front door about 20 yards AND it is in the county and ducks and geese flock to it on a regular basis. Can't shoot in the city, but OK in the county. Don't miss out on this opportunity before it is GONE. We do allow pets and hunting dogs; JUST NOT IN THE HOUSE.

There are only 6 houses within a one half mile radius of the lodge and three of them belong to us. this means plenty of room to stroll around and relax. Play tennis on the tennis court or shoot some hoops on either of the two basketball goals. Go fishing, swimming, paddle boating, or just relaxing on the more than 100 yards of sandy beach area along the edge of the pond.

Last minute business adventure.

We stayed at the Pond-a-Rosa one day and night and were thoroughly relaxed even though we had a rough ride towing a trailer for more than 4 hours. The hosts were helpful and friendly so that we felt like we had come to a relaxing atmosphere including a comfortable home with nice furnishings and comfortable beds. The lake and beach were a great surprise, and we especially enjoyed the ducks, geese, and horses. A gentle breeze and the peaceful country setting made our outdoor supper into a good memory we shall enjoy. The location has easy access to many points of interest, a helpful plus! We would love to stay there again.

Labor Day Reunion 2012

We stayed at Pondarosa for Labor day weekend. It was a combined family reunion and birthday party for a large extended family and the location offered plenty of space. There were things to do for family members of all ages (our youngest was 1.5 months, oldest 60+). Randy was very accommodating and worked very hard to make sure we had everything we needed during our stay. We could not have been any happier with the location, facilities, or accommodations. It is obvious that Randy is pouring his heart into this private cabin on a beach and the constant additions/improvements are going to just make this place more amazing. We will use this location again for our next family gathering! It is absolutely amazing!!!

Memorial Day Weekend 2012 Family Reunion

We had a Family Reunion on Memorial Day Weekend 2012 @ the Pond a Rosa Inn and had a blast. The Pond a Rosa Inn was like a Home Away from Home and very comfortable. There is so much to do for all ages. You have a choice of swimming, water slide, diving board, water rope swing, paddle boats, fishing, tennis, basketball or just relaxing and enjoying the geese on the pond with their babies. You have privacy and shopping just around the corner. The owners Randy & LeAnna are very nice and very accommodating. They made sure that our stay was comfortable and one we'll always remember. We loved it so much we are planning to go back Memorial Day Weekend 2013, if Randy and LeAnna will have us. I would highly recommend the Pond a Rosa Inn to family, friends and anyone who needs a vacation and wants to fun or just relax.

A Family Haven

We were one of the first groups of guests to stay at the Pondarosa and our hosts could not have been more accommodating. We were primarily a group of women along with my husband, so you can imagine that our needs were many. The house is very comfortable and our bathroom was amazing with a steam shower! Comfortable seating area outside as well with a fire pit. We hope to return some time soon!
