This property delivered everything depicted in the description, and more. Although the photos were accurate, they did not match the actual beauty of the apartment. The apartment was impecably decorated, with colors and textures appropriate for its location - just across from the beach. It felt open, airy and relaxing. All the photos included in the listing accurately depicted the location of the apartment and the wonderful ocean views from the apartment.
The interior beauty of the apartment was matched by waking each morning to 180 degree views of the sun rise over the ocean, and watching the sun set each evening behind a low rock formation. In between morning and evening, a short walk just downhill led to the exciting city of Leblon with shops, stores and restaurants galore. Ipanema and Copacabana beaches were just a 5 minute taxi/bus ride away.
The property was clean and well-maintained. The bathroom was especially well-decorated and made bathing and showering a true indulgence.
Beginning from when first contacted and lasting until departure, the owners were extremely accessible and immediately responded to any questions.
Two added bonuses: First, there is a roof-top area in the building that provides an excellent opportunity for 360 degree views of the city and the most famous beaches in Rio. Second, I loved watching from the kitchen window as small monkeys played in the trees located just behind the building.
I highly recommend staying in this property.
