3 Bedrooms, 2 Baths, sleeps 8 easily

This property is located on the road that borders the seven island lake with the front of it facing the lake. This is quiet area great all year around for people who like the outdoors. There are ATV and Snowmobile trails nearby as well as the lake itself (and many others around it). The property is surrounded with hiking trails from the natural preserve Duchesnay that give access to several lakes, bird watching areas as well as other nature observation sites. The town of St-Raymond nearby features a small shopping center, grocery stores and others. There is also a ski slope nearby ( Mount St Laura) for downhill skiing amateurs. Cross country skiing can be done at Duchesnay. In the summer time, boating is at its best on the huge lake.

This new construction sits accross the road from the lakefront and has two floors with big windows facing it as well as a wrap around deck. There are two bedrooms as well as a baby/infant room for people who need to set-up a crib or a playpen ( the baby room is next to the master bedroom on the top floor).Another private bedroom is downstairs, adjacent to a big family room that has a sofa bed and a Wii game console. There are two full bathrooms as well as a washer and dryer. The house is in a quiet wooded area but also has all the amenities needed for families that need to do some work while on vacation and stay in touch. Wi-Fi high speed internet, cable TV with French and English channels,printer,fax and copier for guest use. There are walking, snowmobile and ATV trails nearby . The parking can fit 3 cars easily with a boat/ATV trailer. The flooring is hard woods upstairs and vinyl/tile downstairs. The kitchen comes will all the necessities and the dining area can sit 12, complete with a gas fireplace. Electrical A/C in the summer.

There is a landline phone in the house with free long distance to Canada/US/France and UK.

This property is on the road that is bordering the seven islands lake in St-Raymond, Quebec. This area is very quiet with a huge nature preserve all around the property ( Reserve Duchesnay) that is great all year around. The city of St-Raymond nearby is a logging town that has a slow pace and friendly people with some great restaurants. The motto of the city is 'living in nature'. There are excursions for hunting, fishing, ATV and Snowmobile rentals nearby as well.

My family of six and I had such a lovely time here! It was my first time in renting a property from HomeAway and I must say that everything was made so easy that I will definitely be doing this again in the future. The owner of the rental property was very prompt with inquiries regarding his home and information pertaining to payment and so forth. The description of the property was very thorough and upon arrival looked exactly as in the pictures, and well stocked with everything we would need away from our home. The home was very well maintained, comfortable and clean, and if any problems were to have arisen we were given a relative right in the area to contact, along with being able to contact the owner himself. The house was also close to a town where they had a Metro store for food shopping, so the location was convenient for a relaxing getaway yet still close to a shopping source for necessities. We also made day trips to Quebec city and found it to be a short drive. All in all, a perfectly warm and lovely home away from home.

Très belle maison neuve, c'est un endroit spacieux et très propre. Il y a tout pour vous accommoder à l'intérieur, de la cuisine aux chambres. Il y a un beau foyer, et c'est une maison qui peut facilement accueillir toute la famille. Télévision + internet sans-fil ont été très pratique.

Je le conseille à tous.

Very nice vacations.
A nice chalet, a very warm setting, wide space, big fireplace. Impeccable and clean as new.
Perfect for family gatherings.
The nature is outstanding around, a huge lake surrounded by wild forest.
Thank you, I'll be back!
P.S. A GPS is recommended to get there.
