Getting there from the UK
Flights from the UK are frequently departing to Sydney, and other popular destinations in Australia. You can choose to take a direct flight with many popular airlines, but if you aren't a long flight type of person, you can arrange a stopover in many destinations including Abu Dhabi, Singapore or Bangkok.
When you are there
Once you arrive in Sydney, getting to your Bondi holiday accommodation is not difficult. A driver can pick you up from the airport and transport you to your holiday rental in around half an hour, where you can recover from your flight and relax as you look over the Australian ocean.
As for public transport, there is a train station located at Bondi Junction, which is around ten minutes away from the beach. It is possible to hop on a train at the International Airport and venture to Bondi Junction train station, where you can easily take a bus or hail a taxi that will get you to the beach. The trip from the Junction to the beach itself takes less than ten minutes. The downside of using public transport is that it will often be time consuming, and you will need to take more than one train or bus. For this reason, it is more popular amongst holiday makers to arrange a driver or to take a taxi directly to the holiday apartment.
