Have a golden holiday on the Gold Coast
A coastal city in Queensland, Gold Coast is an immensely popular holiday destination for Australians and is increasingly being discovered by everyone else. There’s an enormous amount to do here, an amazing climate, friendly locals, and some amazing serviced apartments, including pet-friendly and family-friendly options – everything you could want in a holiday destination, and then some! The city is lively and has an excellent choice of bars, restaurants and attractions. But you’re never too far away from the solitary splendour of the Outback, pristine beaches or even a trip to the Great Barrier Reef. No matter how young or old you are or who you’re travelling with, you’ll have a blast in Gold Coast.
Things to Do
The Gold Coast is a holiday paradise and there’s plenty for everyone to do. Families will enjoy the theme parks dotted around the city, as well as the amazing beaches. Couples and younger travellers will love the nightlife, the buzz, and the restaurants. If you love the outdoors, then snorkelling, water skiing and paragliding are on offer. If you want something more sedate, then there are some great walking and fishing opportunities. Whatever you like doing, you’ll find it in Gold Coast. A serviced apartment or house is an ideal way to stay, whether you have a family, will roll home in the wee hours after clubbing the night away in Surfers Paradise, or expect to be up at dawn for that scuba diving trip.
Weather in Gold Coast
The weather is fabulous all year round. December through to February are the hottest months, when the temperature will be around 33C at midday – if you’re coming in summer, make sure you book a holiday apartment with air conditioning.
