I live in the beautiful town of Katoomba in the Blue Mountains. It's so beautiful, with rolling fog nearly every afternoon. We have ‘Scenic World’ for the kids which is great fun, and also Echo Point where the three sisters are. Lots of bush walking tracks, beautiful cafés and restaurants - too many choices to be honest! If you want to turn back the hand of time with your nearest and dearest, Katoomba in the Blue Mountains is the place to be - it’s only one hour from Sydney.
Talk to the locals, they know all the hidden treasures up here. My favourite place here is down at Minni Ha Ha Falls. There is a waterfall that you can swim under, and the crystal clear water is perfect for the kids. It is not too deep for the little ones, and with lots of wildlife, natural reserves and great picnic areas and playgrounds - I love this place!
I have lived here for nearly four years and I will never leave! You all need to get up here so you all know what I'm talking about. But be careful - if you come, you may never want to leave!
