Cal, meaning a very large old farmhouse, and Caminer, referring to the original owner who had to walk from the village of Ciutadilla to Guimerà. Cal Caminer is an independent rural house with walls made from stone and wood timbers. The house has been reformed with all the current comforts, combined with artistically carved wood furniture and other elegant details. The house also boasts a pool with hydromassage and air-conditionaing powered by solar energy creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Guimerà: Guimerà is a picturesque medieval village. It has historical and artistic significance. Some notable monuments are the church and the castle. There is also Plaça Major (the main village square), the nedieval wall, the Bovera Sanctuary and the Vallsanta Monastery. On the second weekend of August, there is also a celebrated Medieval Market. In which you can purchase many hand-made products.
