One block off the Canyon Road Historic Arts District and Camino del Monte Sol, this traditional charming adobe home located on a quiet dirt lane in the heart of the historic Eastside offers 2 queen bedrooms both with Kiva wood burning fireplaces, 2 baths, light and airy with wood beams (Vigas) ceilings and wide plank wood floors. The living room has the 3rd Kiva wood burning fireplace with the open kitchen at one end, and the dining room at the other. The dining room accommodates seating for 8 with french doors leading to the back garden with mature landscaping of cherry, apple and plum trees with patio seating for al fresco dining. the laundry area is just off the dining room.

Large skylights, windows everywhere, entry garden with pond, and sunset views over the rooftops below create a wonderful, warm atmosphere. This home is a hidden jewel. Approximately 1525 square feet.

Lovely Home

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed at Casa Abeyta for a week. It was perfect for two couples. We really enjoyed breakfast on the back patio. The house is in a good location and it was within easy walking distance to Canyon Road and the plaza.

Lovely location, a bit worn

Lots of great things about this particular place, including the location and the spacious rooms.There were aspects that I would have expected to be taken care of, such as the patio windows to the little garden were so filthy you could barely see out. The patio furniture hadn't been cleaned, and there were cleaning implements scattered through both gardens. We would have spent time outside if the exterior had been tidy. I don't expect to have to do that kind of thing. The interior is aesthetically pleasing, but fairly well-worn. Chips in the stucco and drips down the walls. But the furniture was comfortable, the kitchen had enough pots and pans to be workable, and the towels and linens in great shape. So don't look too carefully, and all will be well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The house was in impeccable condition, and filled with lovely furniture and art, and luxury appointments of many kinds. Thought had clearly gone into how to anticipate any need, which of course we sincerely appreciated. (The only less-than-ideally-comfortable aspect -- for us -- were the beds: not just would we have much preferred king-size beds to the queens on site, but they were both much firmer than to our taste. Of course this is purely a subjective opinion.) Furthermore, management staff were immediately responsive to any questions/requests we had. Overall a wonderful experience!
