Notes
- We offer a free one way taxi transfer, on arrival you will be greeted by our staff at either the jetty or airport and then taken to the villa. Maison Vue des Iles is on land that slopes steeply down to the small beach and has terracing and steps. This means that children will need close supervision. The house is wooden and thatched and so the no smoking requirement is as much about guest safety as it is about personal preferences. Access to the house is through electric gates and along a steep driveway. Praslin is the ultimate destination for anyone wanting to visit a tropical paradise that has local life and culture. The house manager and house keeper speak English, Creole and French. We endeavour to provide the very best service we can.

Map
Maison Vue Des Iles stands down a private drive shared with one other small guest house and just 12 meters from the Indian Ocean; just below the house down a short flight of Palm-shaded steps lies a small beach.. Immediately off shore is a shallow reef and the tiny island of Ile Malice, there are few better snorkeling spots in all of the Seychelles. The property derives its name from the collection of tropical islands which are the focal point of the stunning view from the balcony and sun deck. Anse La Blague is a quiet village it has a bus stop and a fabulous calm white sand beach protected by a shallow reef. Praslin boasts some of the most incredible beaches on Earth, plus a world heritage site The Valley De Mai once thought to be the original Garden of Eden. There are also excellent diving, snorkeling, hill walking, mountain biking, game-fishing and island hopping opportunities as well as a championship golf course at the 5* Lemuria Hotel. All this and the Creole cuisine is amazing!

Dear Client, Welcome to the Seychelles, 'Paradise', 'Islands of Love', 'Lost Garden of Eden' - to name but a few of the names attributed to our beautiful islands, The Seychelles! Welcome, Bien venue to Maison Vue Des Isles! My husband and I and our team look forward to receiving your at MVDI and making your stay with us a pleasurable and unforgettable one! I am Claudette Otten née Jean-Louis. Although I am Seychelloise by origin, I was born and raised in Kenya and lived there for twenty-four years. In 1983 I met and married Jos Otten, a Dutchman and went to live in The Netherlands, where I have been living for thirty-three years. Jos and I have two sons. My husband and I both love doing nature walks/trails, we love gardening and snorkelling. Jos loves cycling and diving and I love making stone schulptures. Maison Vue Des Isles was built in 2008 by our dear friends Simon and Jan Rouse of The UK. Occasionally, Jos and I would give them a hand back then doing DIY jobs. My husband and I started running Maison Vue Des Isles as a Holiday Home in August of 2012. We do so with great pleasure. Since Jos' retirement two years ago, we run the establishment personally part of the year, and the other half of the year it is run by our very capable manager Ryan Savy. Please be our guest and see for yourselves just how beautiful The Seychelles really is. I promise you will not be disappointed! Thank you, and looking forward to seeing you in the very near future! Claudette Otten
