Family weekend to Thomas Land
Perfect place to use as a base for our trip to Thomas Land (Drayton Manor). Clean, nice decor, equipped with most of the things you could need for a weekend away, enough space for 2 young families. Bottle of fizz, water and coffee pods on arrival a lovely touch. Would recommend.

This property was so unique and full of character. It has been decorated and modernized so well but still retains it's historical charm. The owner has provided special touches like bathroom amenities, teas & coffees, even a special chocolate on the table place settings. The bedrooms are large and the beds are cozy and inviting. The location in Burton on Trent is convenient to the National Brewery Centre (the reason for our visit).

Comfortable and spacious.
A smart, secure property. Beautifully decorated and styled. 10 mins walk to town but Aldi directly opposite for essentials. Owner Jane was really kind and helpful.

I am a silver surfer, a granny to 9 beautiful grandchildren and, some say I am also a witch. My passions and hobbies include baking and cooking (spells of course!), design and painting and renovating furniture, hence the design of the accommodations we have.

Why they chose this property

This property has so much character and history and yet it is warm and bright and peaceful. You can't help but feel relaxed and happy within its walls as they have been protecting people for many years.

What makes this property unique

Being a listed building it has retained most of its original features and the renovations have been added around them, incorporating them into the design. It is in such a convenient position for everything from fast food restaurants, cinemas, shops and supermarkets to the river and the countryside of the surrounding area.
