About this property

The Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage is in honour of its origin as the original home of the East Point Park lighthouse keeper. The cottage was moved to its new location, right beside East Point Park, many years ago and now provides guests with the opportunity to experience a bit of Saturna history on their holiday.

Imagine waking up to the sound of the waves lapping on the beach in front of your cottage. Enjoy a cup of coffee (or wine!) while watching play in the ocean from the big picture window in the living room. The cottage offers you a cozy getaway with easy access to East Point Park, which renown for its Orca watching.
Features of the cottage are: a comfortable queen bed, three piece bathroom, full kitchen with dining area, and a large living room with a pull out double sofa-bed. All linens and towels and bottled water are provided.

Now all you have to do is pick an available time and pack your bags. Your Saturna adventure awaits you at the Lighthouse Keeper's Cottage.

Amazing location

The cabin was clean and the bed comfortable. The location is unbeatable. However, as mentioned by other reviewers, there are no screens in the windows so when you open the windows for ventilation or cooling, flies and mosquitos come in. With the windows shut in July it can be stuffy and hot, despite running a fan. The cabin would be much more comfortable and enjoyable if renters could open the windows. Also it would help to have lids for some of the pots and a usable broom and dustpan so people could clean the floor a bit during their stay.

Saturna cottage

The property is amazingly located with fantastic views of the ocean and Tumbo. Seals, eagles and deer where always around and the seals playing or sunning themselves was relaxing to watch from the window or picnic table. Easy walk to East Point as well. Was a great stay.

What a place...

We're already planning our stay here for next year, it's the perfect location for some good down time! Amazing wildlife, waking up to eagles and seals splashing was my favorite part. Took our boat to Tumbo Island, its magical there, will plan for a day next time.
