About this property

Peaceful and quiet country living

Enjoy your stay at a uniquely private country setting just north of Sauk Centre in central Minnesota. Choose to spend your time quietly around a campfire or if you'd like you can choose from many local great lakes for fishing, great golf courses in the area including a Tom Lehman signature Golf Course at Greystone country club, many bike trails, and local small gift, antique shops.
You will enjoy much of the outdoor experience with wildlife and the peace and quiet that comes with that. Just to the north you'll find a small Amish furniture store along with many local Amish goods that they make right there in the area.

August 9 to 11 stay for brides family
We had our daughter get married on August 10th at a nearby venue. The convenience of the location of this property made it well worth our stay. We were able to freshen up after the ceremony before heading to the venue for the dinner & dancing. We have 4 boys (3 of whom are in the military) that are located all across the country, and the spaciousness of the property made it very comfortable for us all to stay plus their dates. The hunting/outdoors decorating theme was right up their alley as they are all avid hunters! We only wish we would have had more time to actually enjoy the property. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen both Saturday and Sunday mornings but weren't able to have time to enjoy the spacious living rooms/deck or outdoors. Everyone was on their way to the airport by 11am Sunday. The only downside to the property was the one shower--getting out the door was a task both mornings to get everyone through the shower and dressed by 9am.

The place was lovely! Very clean, seemed like new. Very Comfortable!
Out in the country; it was so quiet and we heard nothing but the nature around us. The beds were comfortable and the sheets soft and nice. Everything we needed was there.....from laundry soap, to toilet paper, to a few extras in the fridge, lots of towels, extra blankets and pillow. Much more than we expected!!! The only drawback was the single shower, but with the tankless water heater, one didn't have to worry about running out of hot water. Fabulous place!

Clean and cozy hunting lodge sleeps 8
This is a clean and cozy hunting lodge in the Sauk Centre area, with a pond and forest nearby. There is plenty of deck and grass for children to play. The house has a den area as well as the major living area, both equipped with direct TV, which we didn't use. A short drive into town to restock on groceries. Large kitchen, and dining area. There is one full bath with shower, and a laundry room. Another half bath near the den. The house sleeps 8-9 people comfortably, and more if you use the den sectional couch or air mattresses. The kitchen is fairly well stocked, although more smaller pots with lids would be appreciated. If there was a way to add a second shower, this house would make a great family gathering spot! The owner was very easy to work with. The indoor decorations are based on hunting, with 6-7 deer/stags on the walls, a full bear, a turkey, a pheasant, and a crocodile head. Accessories are often made with antlers. Very clean, and with heat and AC.
