Position was perfect, but the apartment could have been cleaner and lots of essentials were missing.

We eventually got into the apartment. No wifi for the first few days, which we sorted out eventually, no scart lead to enable us to watch DVDs, so had to buy our own. There's no toaster and no bread/carving knife, so had to manage with a steak knife. The automatic garage door didn't work when we returned from a day out, so had to, eventually open it manually. However, we did enjoy Salou and surrounding areas. The only way I would recommend the property is by its location, it has a lovely sea view.

I must add, in fairness, that this is not how we normally "holiday" as we usually use our camping car, this time we were away with friends and wanted a change !!

Owner's Response: I respect this comment but it is unfair, false and absurd. There is no comment that I give them two more nigths, in the refrigerator they had drinks, meals, coffee, bread... There were also all cleaning products, heating and free wifi... I did not cover the deposit because they looked good people and i didn't go to check the apartment on the day of departure, February 17, because I trusted them This apartment has 14 excellent reviews, wich really say what the apartament is like. The apartment was delivered clean, except the terrace, wich was cleaned and prepared in front of the tenants, that same day of entry. I told the tenants that the apartment was unpaimted because, we will do this in march or april The wifi (free and unlimited) did not work the first night because they needed to plug in a cable, the parking door is automatic, if it fails, it has a manual system to open it True, there isn't bread knife I love that the family be in Salou like in her own house

The property was ideal, had a lovely views over the sea.

The apartment was very clean, had everything you needed for the stay, Marie the owner was very helpful, met us at the apartment, even supplied us with a cot.

The owners left us a welcome pack with the essentials in, ie water breads soft drinks etc really helped. You don't need a car as everything is in walking distance, train station which we used for a day trip to Barcelona, buses are just on the corner of the apartment, all the bars and restaurants are all in walking distance, but the apartment is just far enough for peace and quite, away from the crowds. would definitely go back and stay in the apartment again.

Beautiful apartment

Location is perfect. Across the road from the beach and close to all amenities. Maria, the owner, was waiting to greet us with a lovely welcome pack. The apartment has everything you need for a relaxing holiday and beautiful views over the bay. We will definitely be returning.

Perfect Holiday

The location of the apartment was perfect. 50 meters from the beach and in a a quiet part of town. My wife and I had the apartment to ourselves for the first week and it felt like we belonged there. Salou is a special place for us having visited it on five separate occasions and going to collect my wifes son and fiance from the airport for the second week made it feel like home. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a drink watching the sun set behind the distant mountains. In fact the apartment was so good on a number of accasions we decided to stay in and cook! The local amenities are excellent. Plenty of bars and resturants, supermarkets, gift shops and a medical centre just round the corner. I highly recommend the small bar opposite the medical centre. The Tapas is amazing and the hospitality fantastic. I would recommend this apartment as a great place to stay. There were a few minor niggles (the water pressure wasn't that great and the boiler did not always heat the water properly), but overall we loved everything about the apartment. The owner, Maria, is lovely and couldn't be more helpful. it was fun talking to her via 'Google Translater' as her English was as good as my Spanish! All in all I can say this was a perfect holiday.

Happy Holiday

spent two wks at this apartment and had a great time,apartment very clean and very well maintained. Owner very friendly. Location perfect for beach, shops, bars and restuarants but location still quiet enough for peacefull holiday.

I would recommend this property.

Only issue was no sun lounger or chairs at the pool

August Holiday with family

This is a lovely property if you are visiting Salou and in a really central location -- we stayed with three children(10,8 and 5) and it was ideal(even if it took them a week to find the translation button on the TV!) The area was really busy -- it was the first two weeks in August, so that is to be expected. The apartment is really nice, very clean and spacious, with everything you need. There is a lovely stroll along the boardwalk from the beach to the main strip in Salou. The pool area is great, nicely shaded in the heat and very quiet -- most of the apartments in the block seem to be owner occupied, so we mostly had the pool to ourselves. The beach was busy but safe; Girassol across the road has great value paella -- but the best was the little cafe/restarant on the beach serving fab food in the shade, but be prepared to wait. We got the tourist train from the top of the hill to Port Aventura (€10 for family of five one way) but the regular bus service is only a few streets away. Great holiday for kids -- but be prepared for the crowds at the height of the season. Fab view of the sea from the balcony and owner Maria is lovely. Check how to use the front door before she leaves -- it takes practice!
