Beautiful and spacious
The location is gorgeous, and we enjoyed the access to a canoe and tubes for the river. The interior was clean & tidy. The home's layout provides plenty of choices for hanging out indoors or outdoors. (We spent a lot of time on the deck and a great eve by the fire pit.) The land line and wifi were helpful. The property seems like a great gathering point if a larger group rents the places next door managed by the same people. The manager was immediately responsive to our request to stay another night due to weather/travel concerns. If we had any gripes, they may be because we were there for several days. (Towels are provided, but there was only 1 hand towel, and no small wash 'rags'. Limited number of dinner plates, water glasses, and few utensils...e.g. 5 forks, spoons etc; so if you have a larger group you'd want to plan accordingly. Also, check w/the managers beforehand if you really need one of the listed amenities; a hairdryer was listed, but we couldn't find it.) All in all a great place in a special spot!

Enjoyed our stay
The Wi-Fi is as other reviewers said, is barely there - we got the occasional email or text but otherwise no signal. The water is also as other reviewers said, has a very strong odor. If you know those things and work around them or don’t mind then this place will make for a great stay. We loved it here, we bought bottled water to cook with and drink and happily disconnected for the weekend. Cabin was spacious, easy access to the water and plenty of outdoor space for the dogs to run around. We’ll be back!

A little disappointed and uncomfortable
I was concerned that I hadn't received any communication from the property managers/owners as the trip was getting closer. I reached out to ask about a grill and was told they had one, bring charcoal. The communication was direct and unfriendly, but thought nothing of it. I finally received the check-in email at 1PM on my day of arrival. Check in was at 3PM and we were well on our way there already. We arrived at 5:30 pm to find one of the owners there, blocking the driveway. He moved his vehicle and informed us the floor was still wet, as if he was annoyed we were there too early. He left and we went it to find the tile floor very wet and slippery, and there was an overwhelming smell of pinesol. It was intolerable, so we opened windows and remained outdoors, eventually leaving for a bit. While waiting, although beautiful, I was disappointed to find that the riverfront was barely visible through the trees and growth. The hottub water was green and there was dirt and sand at the bottom, so we chose not to use it. The canoe has damage and was questionably patched, and it was locked with a note to contact the owner to come unlock it for you. Shouldn't that be done before you check in? Also, while we were out on Saturday fishing, they stopped by and dropped off oven mitts and a shower puff, although clean, the puff was USED... by why in the middle of our stay? And the water... they tell you about in the check-in email, but it is horrible. All in all, I wouldn't recommend.

Restful Peace
Eagles landing is perfect for lounging around and getting close with family. It's too shallow to fish the river, but it is beautiful to look at. The stairs and back are not really for the disabled, but the ramp out front is perfect. Strolling about the property is nice. If you plan to cook, the kitchen is well stocked. There are toys for the youngins and for adult. I recommend this spot for vacations and just because
