About this property

Our huge 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom loft with a Walk Score of 96 is excellent for vacations, business travel, conferences, sports events, and exploring lovely St. Louis!

Our space is perfectly located between all of the major attractions. You can easily walk to the Arch, Busch Stadium, Americas Center (conference center), Scottrade Center, City Museum, Peabody Opera House, and many more. There's also a grocery store 1 block away, and many restaurants, cafes, and bars that we'd highly recommend.

The space

We've outfitted our space with designer furniture everywhere. The center piece of the living room is a beautiful white leather Eames Lounge chair and our blue velvet couch from Article. Please help yourself to Netflix on our 60" 4K TV!

In the kitchen you'll find a beautiful walnut table, also from Article. The table seats 4 guests and the kitchen island seats an additional 3. We have a fully stocked kitchen with glasses, mugs, pots, pans, plates, flatware, cooking utensils, and cooking knives from Chicago Cutlery.

The neighborhood

The neighborhood is the perfect mix of being super close to all of the attractions, but still 1-2 blocks away from loud bars at night. It's the most desirable area in downtown to live. The main grocery store is 1/2 block away with the best rated restaurants all right next door. There's also an excellent coffee shop just down the street. The entire area is also incredibly safe!

Getting around

The nearest metro station entrance is just 2 blocks away. Additionally Uber and taxi options are plentiful. If you're bringing a car we recommend using the parking garage above the grocery store.

Volleyball Stay

We made our stay “work”. We were in STL for weekend tournament. Competing hotels & stays were booked or not w/in walking distance. Location was spot on. Was walking distance to all we needed and more. History and appeal of building was interesting. However, there were several issues that we made Mgmt Co/Owner aware of. Broken blinds on a large “floor to ceiling window” was the biggest issue. Sent msg via App, issue was NEVER resolved. We draped a bedsheet on the window for privacy…took sheet down the a.m. we departed. The unit has a “minimalist” type decor style, Which could be acceptable for some. We wished it had a bit more. Sofa needs deep/spot cleaning or replacement. Maine bathroom showed old water damage (sent notice via App & took pics). Per app response “they took note” and would address. Bathroom could use an overall “refresh” (shower, floor, countertops, etc.). I could continue, but like I mentioned…we made it work. Leaving comments for the next family that might be considering a stay. New to VRBO, but for what we paid, more was expected. Loft has great potential.

Great place

Apartment is exactly as pictured. It's a great place to stay for a game. Lots of restaurants and things to do in the surrounding area. The hosts were very accommodating and friendly.

Blues game

We loved the property and its location. My wife and I met our son and daughter-in-law in St. Louis to go to a blues game. We were able to walk everywhere we needed to go walk to Busch stadium and to the Enterprise Arena. They were great places to eat all within walking distance. We plan on using this property again when we come back back to St. Louis and Wood recommended to anyone planning to stay in the downtown area
