A bolt hole in the superb Burgundy wine region.

The owners are lovely and welcomed us at the local Auberge. We have stayed in many self catering cottages around France, and have become used to the lack of equipment needed to make a cottage a home. Not this one, everything was ready for us and worked well.

Beaune is only a short drive/cycle away but also is Savigny Le Beaune which is a charming village.

We spent the night before Bastille day at the Chateaux to mix with the locals and enjoy the fireworks.

This is a perfect base for exploring the much acclaimed burgundy wine region, although not within stumbling distance of Beaune unfortunately !

Peaceful, comfortable retreat

Really comfortable house (especially the beds!) with just about everything you would need. It's all on the ground floor with only a couple of steps at the entrance, so although not wheelchair friendly it was ideal for my elderly mother. This property is situated in a quiet, picturesque village but handily situated for trips to Dijon, Beaune ( a lovely town with lots of FREE parking),

the main vine-growing areas and other attractions like the narrow-gauge steam railway at Pont d'Ouche. Definitely recommend the restaurant at the auberge in the village.

Very comfortable stay

Charming owner and beautifully renovated home. Plenty of off road, fenced parking space. A couple of steps up to doors and French windows and then everything is on the ground floor. Village has a bar and restaurant - closed Tues & wed. 10 mins drive to bakery in savigney and five further to large supermarket on edge of Beaune. Wifi excellent. Lots of walking routes right from front door. Church bells not intrusive. Would definitely recommend to others and very happy to stay again.

Fantastic house

We loved this house. Not only is it as charming as it appears in the photos, but it is well-equipped and very comfortable. It was so nice to stay in a small village with hiking trails close by, but be so close to a bigger city. We've already talked to another couple about staying here the next time we visit the region. The owners are very nice and a pleasure to deal with.

Superbe maison

Très jolie maison, aménagée avec beaucoup de goût et des beaux matériaux. On y trouve tout le confort possible. Excellente literie, état impeccable à l'arrivée. Nous avons apprécié d'y séjourner quelques jours et avons découvert une région qui vaut la peine de s'y arrêter. Très bonne adresse que nous conseillerons. Propriétaire très sympathique. Nous sommes ravis!
