Lake access for this property is located in front of the lakefront side of the property to the right (in front of Landmark #1). Please note that docks are only guaranteed from Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Not worth it

Whoever shot this house deserves a raise because, while everything was technically there, the pics worked overtime to smooth over how incredibly shabby the entire place was. From peeling paint and rotting wood outside (the upper decks literally felt like a safety hazard), to the mess inside...the whole place was overpriced for what little we got in return. This is a house for a frat bro weekend NOT a family vacation. Specifically, we saw: broken games (how are you advertising having a skee ball game THAT DOESN'T KEEP SCORE) and barely usable board games, fireplaces that felt like a death trap (we couldn't light the upstairs one for fear of a gas leak and the downstairs one actually smelled so badly when we turned it on we were concerned about inhaling toxic fumes). The views of the lake were obstructed by other homes and a bridge directly outside--which also meant that we couldn't have any of the doors open because the traffic noise was so loud. The lock on the door to the lower level deck (from the game room) was broken being secured only with a plank of wood in the door track and we barely fit two cars in front of the house (when it is advertised as having space for up to 4). The cherry on top was seeing rats running around on the upstairs deck within sight of my family and our dog in FULL daylight on on the first two days of our stay, which certainly added to the whole feel of the place slowly decaying around us.

The location is a little misleading in the pictures... the hot tub was very chincy and the upstairs fireplace did not work... it was clean that was the only thing it had going for itself

Family Gathering

A bit of a hassle at first, bc oven and dishwasher weren't working, and no propane for the grill. (Isn't everything supposed to be in working order when we arrive?!) But the property mgr. responded quickly and so did maintenance. We loved the openness of the main living area, a big deck overlooking the lake and that all bedrooms have their own bathroom. PLUS, the game room was a blast since there was a fair amount of rain.

Property was very worn

We had a great time at Deep Creek. Plenty of room at the house, with access to lake and dock. Pictures on site are deceiving because the house is “very worn and in need of a good cleaning”. Will not return to this property.
