Perfectly located and gorgeous

  • 5 of 5

What a great visit we had in Rome. We walked everywhere from this perfectly located apartment. Having two bedrooms and two bathrooms with plenty of space was such a nice treat as well. Anna was lovely to work with. Will stay here again next time I'm in Rome!!!!!

Perfect spot

Great apartment. Plenty of room for the four of us to spread out and relax in between exploring Rome. Wonderful quaint neighborhood and great location.

Wonderful location, but

  • 3 of 5

The location was great but the annoying seagulls would make very loud noises at all hours. They roost somewhere in the courtyard. None of the air conditioning control units worked. I tried them all. Opening the windows made the temperature OK but the annoying sea gulls could be heard. Check out time was supposed to be 10 am. We packed everything up and went out for coffee at around 9 AM, intending to be back just before 10 to grab our bags and go. When we returned door was open, there were six other suitcases in the apartment and people were cleaning it already. We should have been called and alerted to this ahead of time.

Owner's Response: Hi James, I'm a little surprised to read a review like that, because ut's the first time since I rent my apartment. This apartment is in the heart of Rome's historical center, next to the Tiber River, Piazza Navona and Pantheon, so seagulls are part of Rome, such as the Colosseum. This apartment has been renting for many years and is the first time anyone complains of noise, because one of the main features is precisely the fact that it is very quiet despite being in the center of the city. Also, it faces the cloister of a church ... I do not think I have to add more to it! As for air conditioners, they are working just fine in every room (I had several guests before your arrival and the same day of your departure that didn't complain at all about it!) and some are even new and of latest generation technology, changed in March this year. The thing that matures me a lot is that you've been several days and did not think about asking why they did not light up? The conditioners turn on by directing the remote control towards the split. Simple ... I can understand that you did not understand it while explaining the check in, but why not ask again? Plus, I leave in the same building so, again, why you didn't ask? Regarding check-out, however, I apologize: it's possible that my assistant you are dealing with did not understand that you would be back, also because you said you would leave at 9.30 and probably, when he arrived and did not found you, he thought you just had left the lugagge to pick it up later. It is a free service I often offer to my guests when I can, to allow them to have more time to travel to the city without the weight of luggage. Best regards, Anna

Roomy, centrally located apartment

  • 4 of 5

We stayed here for a week with 5 adults. The apartment was very central, clean, and plenty of room.

What kept me from giving 5 stars? 4 keys needed to get in - i think this is not atypical of Italy, but still a nuisance, and we only had one set of keys for all five of us, so it made it difficult to split up and do our own thing. The 5 th person was on the pull out couch. Both bathrooms are en suite, so note that anyone sleeping on the pull out will need to go through one of the bedrooms to access a bathroom. Towels could stand to be replaced - they are a bit old.

Overall, i recommend and would stay here again.

Owner's Response: Hello Karen, thanks for your feedback. I'm always glad to receive some advice from my guests. About the doors, I think it's better to be safe when you travel and this is not a hotel with a concierge and a control 24 hours on 24, so I preferred to put the armored door to keep my guests safe and sleeping quietly. Thanks for your visit and best regards, Anna

Spacious, clean and WELL LOCATED

  • 5 of 5

This is a great appartment. We spent 5 nights there with 3 children. A small appartment would have been a nightmare. Instead, this apartment has 4 big rooms and 2 full bathrooms that made the stay very comfortable. Everything worked and was very clean. The best part is the location. Everything is within walking distance and some of the finest restaurants in Rome, groceries, salumerias, stores, Etc. are less than 3 blocks away

Great apartment and location

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this apartment with a friend in August. GREAT apartment. My friend and I have never traveled together before so we decided to skip hotels and use VRBO. It is a two bedroom two bath, designed well for roommate type situations. The bedrooms are on opposite sides with a bathroom in each bedroom. A kitchen, hallway and living room in the middle. The apartment was very well maintained, clean and the AC worked well. We didn't cook so the kitchen didn't get much use. The washer / dryer was perfect. We were able to pack lighter and do laundry at the apartment.

The location - perfect. Easy walk to Trevi/Spanish Steps area. I also walked back from St. Peters Square. It was a bit longer, but a nice walk. We did not have a car and walked everywhere. Occasionally an Uber or taxi. The taxi stand is near Piazza Novona. A very popular (and tasty) gelato shop with full bakery is out the door to the left. Look for Giolitti. Great place for a light breakfast (croissants and Americano are to die for and only 2 euro). The lines at night for gelato are long but move quickly. A couple small bodegas for light groceries and several restaurants.

If back and Rome I'd love to stay here again.

The apartment is located in the heart of the historical center of Rome, just steps from the Pantheon and Piazza Navona.

A 5-minute walk there are the Trevi Fountain, the most important shopping streets, such as Via de 'Condotti and Via del Baboon and Campo de' Fiori, Piazza del Fico and other places full of clubs, restaurants and bars where you can spend a pleasant evening.
